Sanjay Singh, 3 kids locked in battle over family palace in Amethi

The Gandhi bastion got an extra dose of drama on Friday when the local royal family - Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and three children from his first wife Garima - got engaged in a public battle over the clan's palace, Bhupati Bhawan.
The day-long drama culminated in an FIR being lodged by Singh's son, Anant Vikram, against Ram Raj Singh - allegedly an aide of Singh's second wife Ameeta - and eight others for attacking the family and attempting to hold them hostage inside Bhupati Bhawan.
At present, a portion of the heritage 'palace' is occupied by Anant Vikram, his wife Shambhavi and six-year-old son, his sisters Mahima and Shaivya, and their mother, the erstwhile 'Rani' of Amethi, Garima Singh.
