- God’s love, grace and mercy are so difficult to come to terms with sometimes. It makes no sense that a God so holy and perfect would love people so broken, and yet he does. The cross is the perfect display of the Father’s love. He loves and values us enough to die for our sins, not his own. To take a punishment we deserved just to have us with him forever. He values each and every person that much. It feels so unfair. You can try to justify it, to work hard and earn his love, just to come face-to-face with your brokenness and unworthiness time and time again. But he still loves you. So much so that even if you turned around and ran away, he’d still love you. There is no escape, no distance too far. As hard as it may seem, we have to rest in the knowledge that we are loved, valued and accepted, despite our failures and regardless of our own strivings and efforts. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have been welcomed in to the presence of God. And the moment we let ourselves be loved, and step into that place, we realise there’s no where else we’d rather be.

Currently meditating Luke 24 (The Resurrection of Jesus) and this showed up while I was looking for some music to listen to. And I just could not agree more with what u said. Just hooooww can someone so great and powerful choose to love a person so undeserving that He freely gave Jesus Christ to pay for our sins :’( i hope that the resurrection of Jesus reminds us that the God we worship is alive! And that this is our hope.. that our God is risen and that we too will one day be resurrected and be with Him forever!

Just in time...the message of this song really moves my heart. It helps me to pursue the things He has for me and to really move on from my past mistakes and regrets. I am safe in His Love.

How ever, a lyric on your song bothered my heart.
"NOTHING IN LIFE CAN SEPARATE"
there is something in life that can separate us from God.
None other than sin itself. It says in the Bible,
Psa 66:18 NKJV If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.
If there is sin, He cannot hear us. He is a pure God, and we need to live pure and righteously.
Isa 59:2 NKJV But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
It says, because of sin, we are separated.
The NLT translation, sad to say added words to Rom 8:38 which is not in the KING JAMES BIBLE which is closest to the GREEK, ARAMAIC AND JEWISH BIBLE. simply saying our most reliable translation. And ROM 8:38 KJV rnumerated the things that can hinder us but it isn't telling us that nothing can separate coz there is something that "can" separate us from God. BUT!
If we would repent just as how
2Ch 7:14 NKJVsays " if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. "
So it comes from repentance.
I know you love Jesus,
And Jesus HIMSELF taught us this us how we ought to pray, in the Lord's prayer the middle portion wherein it says
Give us this day our daily bread.. - why? Because we daily get hungry
And forgive us our sins - why? Because we daily need forgiveness from God bc bitter truth is we still have sins for God is changing us but we need to repent .
As we forgive those who sin against us - why? Because many people will offend you everyday, which means you need to release forgive people everyday and if you dont 1 JOHN 3:15 says
1Jn 3:15 NKJV Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
I know you're a good man. Just need to tell this because an open rebuke is better than secret love and I am edified by your works. No bitterness in this man! All love!
