It's taking me about 7 Years to collect & read Volumes 1 - 17 (I know that's pretty ridiculous) & I'm really hoping I finish it this year & once I do I will finally watch the Series 🤩 It's a shame that they only Dubbed the first season, I guess it's because it wasn't that popular but I don't mind watching all 3 Seasons Subbed 🙂

@@FriedEggsWithChips Yep finished reading it back in April earlier this year (11th November 2013 - 12th April 2021) it only took me this long because for quite some time My Family were in control of My Bank Account so I wasn't able to buy Manga as often as I wanted to 😔 There are quite a few series in My Collection that I started a few years ago & still haven't completed reading or collecting the main one being SGT FROG (31 Volumes but only 21 were released in English before Tokyopop went Bankrupt in the US) I have Vols. 1-17 + 19 (I've read all of these volumes several times each & it never fails to make me laugh however they heavily changed the Anime adaptation to be more Child Friendly so a lot of the original content is mixed up...) & I'm really struggling to find 18, 20 & 21...I technically could get them in the US but it would cost a lot of ship it out here to the UK I did find one person on eBay who was selling 1-18 in the UK but unfortunately they were unwilling to split 18 from the set 😭 It's understandable that they would want to get rid of them all together

I would like to start with the fact that I have nothing against shyness when a person makes his first steps in his private life and tries for the first time to talk with a representative of the fair sex, it’s normal to show behavioral weakness, but when people at the age of 20 and higher behave like stupid monkeys and donkeys it just makes me mad. When you make a proposal on a Ferris wheel you can’t be like Himaru Kazuya, to stoop as low as your anatomy allows you to do. To transform an important social procedure in antics and grimaces - It’s not a bugging circus, are you an f... joker, are you insane, who wants such an emotionally unstable husband beside, who is incapable to concentrate in a moment of great importance? Or even better, a hereditary cuckold like Mashiro kun. I understand that you have a dream, and you want to be with the dear one in the moment of the great reward, but isn’t the path sometimes more important than the ultimate goal? All what you achieve in the meantime, the trust you earn from your partner, reliability, respect and so on, isn’t it correct to be together from the beginning, helping each other to surpass the harshest of the obstacles together? Of course no, it’s better to promote a sick lifestyle where people work 7 days in a week, more than 16 hours every damn day, depriving you and your chosen one of the joys of youth. Imagine being 24 when you first time became more intimate with a dear person, on purpose, because of a stupid obsession? Imagine being 24 and behave like a moron not in the presence, no, no, no, just talking on the phone with a girl. The shyness in this anime exceeds the size of the cliché in an average rom-com anime. I don’t know what the authors were thinking, maybe that this is funny, it makes the scene more comic or cute, but I think it’s just stupid and shows the lack of character development, speaking of which, there is none in this anime, maybe just in tiny amounts I could notice in the development of the other less important characters like Aoki Yuriko who in the begging were an arrogant bitchh but in meantime transformed in a pretty bearable char. I would like to pay in this writing a bit of tribute to organizational culture represented in this piece of content. I think the most relatable case was the transition from a simple redactor to captain level of Hattori Yuujirou sensei, At that moment Miura said: “Yuujirou san” or kun (I don’t remember) and in the same moment he corrected himself saying ‘’oh no, captain”, “what the… man are you doing, are you going nuts”, I was saying to myself, how can people change the attitude instantly towards moments ago peers in such a self-detrimentally way. The other aspect shown here was the absolute lack of independence of an individual in the face of a hierarchy structure. If an employee stays on a higher career stair than you, he has the power to order with you at his own will even if he is wrong, like in the second season when Miura dictated all the wrong decisions a creator could do, namely, to make comedy manga even if it doesn’t fit the creator, instead of pursuing your strongest professional side, in this case to do serious manga, thus, destroying plenty of precious time, and when they decided to get rid of him, they felt on Takahama Shouyou's skin how harsh can you be punished for such an insolence. There were so many situations when we colorfully could see the organizational injustice and stupidity, for example the bet between Ashirogi Muto and Chief redactor Sasaki Hisashi, where in case of the Ashirogi’s loss they would need to leave the Jump, even if they were an important asset in the journal, source of income, it is your damn duty to maintain a normal environment where creators can create something they like and want to do. Instead, we can see how this in anime is promoting maniacal self-damaging model of working, where individuals are encouraged or constrained like in the case of Himaru Kazuyato to work as much as their health allows them to do or doesn’t, it doesn’t matter, without holidays, only to satisfy the market demand, because the readers are waiting. We could learn that in order to make somebody to produce, like in the Himaru Kazuya’s case, we have at our disposal a various arsenal of devious tools, I can enumerate her few: lies, blackmailing, financial schemes, involving an individual in different kinds of unreasonable contracts, making him indebted and in great need of money just to further obey to our own will. As I said before this anime is a piece of repetitive, cringe, annoying, mentally debilitating, morally wrong piece of cattle turd, and I almost forgot, the cherry on the cake. In the last episode when he comes to make a proposal he comes in a Ferrari, which is the most childish, cringe moment in the entire series. Imagine to work so hard without holidays and normal sleep just to buy an abhorrently expensive toy just to make an impression on a girl you even don’t really know, because summary you spoke with her 10-15 times, phone calls included. Live with that (I know that this was the desire of his cuckold uncle, but I don’t care, I find it profoundly disgusting).
