Caught myself plenty of Gurnard in the past, but never had one for the table, they looked to pritty to kill 🤣 but after seeing this vid I will be cooking the next, nice one Matt from Matt ✌👍
Hey Matt. Nice catch. Never seen a Gurnard before. Looks like a very tricky mark to get to. loved your recipe for coating the fillets. Will have to try that sometime with a catch here. Cheers.
Thanks David, we normally have to go further west towards Swansea to catch them, so nice to see them this far up the Bristol Channel. I'm hoping to do more catch clean and cooks in the future, some different content fir the channel. 👍🏻

Matt I took quite a large Pouting home when boat fishing and wow it's one to try really. Very tasty firm flesh, surprised the hell out of me, Took a large whiting as well which on comparison was....meh!

@@pinnacleangling Where are you based approximately? Must be close to the valleys with that accent!
@@davidwilliams6525 I am based in the Rhondda Valley. So I have to travel to the coast. Would be nice if I lived closer to the water. 👍🏻
