    Ottimo lavoro, complimenti! E' molto interessante vedere come nasce un gioiello ed io, poi, ho un debole per i bracciali e questo è davvero bello. Con entusiasmo attendo altri video come questo.
    A presto.

    on you polishing wheel. is the wheel on the right a rougher one? if so what kind is it i need one. i love this link it looks easy and very nice. this will be my first link i try. i have trouble soldering those ring together though. i tried this with silver. I'm not done yet but i feel if i put the work in it might as well be gold.

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      to polish, use two different brushes with two different types of pasta. A brush is made with hard hair and is used with an abrasive paste. The other is a cotton brush that is used with a polishing paste

    Very very inspirational for a beginner like me , I would like to ask when you solder the lobster claw won't the spring inside the claw (lock) get damaged as I tried with silver lock of this type and the spring mechanism got damaged , please provide your valuable knowledge, once again thanks for posting these valuable vedios
    From :Kashmir (India)

      It is because silver transfer heat really good. When you heat the jump ring, heat goes through it to the clasp and to the spring. Gold does not transfer heat as good as silver so you can solder jump rings without removing the spring. Also using small flame helps. I am using oxy-propane torch with needle tips so I soldering jumprings even on solder isnt a problem. But I dont solder them - it takes too much time(solder, pickle, polish) - instead I use PUK to weld them quickly :)

    Привет Коллега! Смотрится симпатично! Тебе не кажется, что браслет получился жёстким? Тебе конечно виднее! По-моему, в готовом браслете, звенья должны быть свободнее. Мне кажется Ты его перетянул через фильеру. Как исправляешь ход звена?

    • @TheRumpell

      Коллега согласен с вами,браслет слегка деревянный,я бы спилил бока слегка,придал так сказать форму а то на мой взгляд не полноценный,это на мой взгляд, а может клиент так захотел.

      Immediately after passing through the trap, it remains very rigid. During
      polishing, using the abrasive paste, I consumed slightly the thickness
      of the meshes, this I used to make the bracelet soft enough to be worn.

    Could u please tell us what is that white powder called the powder u use while flaming the chain?

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      it is antioxidant and fluidizing. it is in liquid form, with the flame it is taken out and forms a protective white patina, which helps the solder to flow. from the goldsmith's wholesalers you can find different brands

    How do you polish red, white and yellow gold, as white gold needs rhodium plating??

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      I use polishing pastes that I find from the "Luigi dal Trozzo" company. The rhodium bath is used to make white gold even more white

    for 18k how much copper have you mixed

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      The proportions of copper and silver in the gold alloy at 750 thousandths (18KT gold) depend on the color that you want to get. 2 silver and one third of copper you will have the yellow color, increasing the copper and decreasing the silver you will have all the nuances until you get to the English red.
