    I have just recently found here videos. I can't even begin to tell you how mind blown I am. I am self taught and have been sculpting and cutting stones and all kinds of materials making jewelry for about 40 years. I just want to thank you for sharing all of your knowledge and your talent with us. Sincerely Dennis DiBonaventura.

    Also in hole that you'll read this I'd like to inquire what the pricing would be for a piece such as the one made in the video only it would be silver instead of gold and zirconia instead of diamonds.i just graduated high school and I'd like to commemorate the occasion by treating myself with something sort of elegant and not so expensive. I'd really appreciate it if you answered my question, thanks and keep up the good work.

    Hey I'm Spencer I'm 19 and I want to get into jewelry , gold smithing, Dimond setting , ect. Is there a way to get into this field of work without school , I already do hvac and have experience in brazing and welding , I've always loved art and making art , if you can give me any advice I would appreciate it

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      You can look for a craftsman who takes you as an apprentice, or with patience you can learn
      by following the many tutorials you find on youtube. In both cases with time you will develop your own personal technique with which you can proceed. At the beginning you can try the repairs, they have a double advantage to improve the welding technique, the finishing and make you earn some money that you can then invest in machinery. Learn more about the possibilities offered by the creation of jewelry with 3D printers. my best regards

    • @scaffoal
      @scaffoal  6 лет назад

      The filings of gold and the pieces of gold are recast, purified and reused. The
      residues of gold left next to the emery paper, in the polishing
      machine, and in the settling tanks, where the jewels and hands are
      washed, are entrusted to specialized companies that deal with the
      recovery procedures. Ultimately, only a very small percentage of gold is lost.

      thank you. It was made to order the final price depends on the diamonds that are mounted. in he ring of the video have been mounted 3 old-cut diamonds of 0.50 carats each, are a type of gems that are not always available with the
      right assortment and at the moment I have not available. If you are interested in the same ring with modern cut diamonds you can contact scaffoal@oro-diamanti.it for a quote. we respond to any requests after 27th of August.
