Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 Binocular Impression

I bought the Nikon - Monarch M5 - 10x42. The product information says 'Tripod connection - Yes
The flat cover cap (3mm) is very tight. *How do I remove it?*
I also ordered the same adapter from Amazon. In all RUclips videos I don't see how to remove the cover cap from the binoculars.

if you use a piece of cloth to grab the serrated edge of that plastic tripod hole cover you should be able to remove it easily. (Turn counter clockwise)
