clarifying for those who did not understand anything: the alberich family is the royal regent of the royal family of khaenri'ah (irmin) and also the founder of the abyss, they found the power of the abyss that was created by sinner (we have no idea who it is, it could be Pierro or someone else) caribert was half-breed son of mondstadt and khaenri'ah , according to alberich lineage, kaeya is of mixed blood, not fully khaenri'ah, kaeya's other eye is light blue and with a real diamond shape, the eye of a native , kaeya is half-breed and prince theoretically, theories were born again

And... he's not fully Khaenri'an- wow thats a lore drop. I used to guess he was a distant relative of the royal family- like not really straight up blood related, but not that distant from the real royal family just.. a relative that doesn't have very close ties with the royal family-

Technically the royalty theories is still in vogue just not in the way most had expected, afterall his father being possibly the king of the abyss order means that he is their true prince not the sibling.

We were presented with the story of a full blooded Kahenriah man, from the Alberich clan, who had an illegitimate son, Caribert, with a woman from Mondstat.
In real history Caribert was the third son of Clotario's third wife --- but he still ascended to be King.
I don't think these are disconnected from Kaeya's own story. Also the fact that Alberich does means Ruler of supernatural beings.
I think Kaeya is half Kahenriahn just like Caribert. How was he not affected by the curse? Well he was--- but because Clotar found a cure. He went on to find his wife. And maybe his relatives. Among them, Kaeya's dad and Kaeya himself.
As for what is behind his eye-- maybe a normal looking eye, not a diamond shape one 🤭 or maybe...a proof of his hilichurl past.
Wait, since when Kaeya casually reveals to the traveller that he comes from Khaenri'ah? This happen the second time because Zhongli also knows the secret of the Traveller.
I'm guessing he just speaks about it when he knows there's someone who can give him light about his own past before Dawn Winery. Actually there has never been a hint that he actually did know what his father meant when he said to him "You're our only hope"
In the manga. He confessed that he was a spy of Khaenri'ah.
It's's literally in his voiceline tho. And he's a starter character, so it's not a spoiler anymore.
he wasn't telling the whole truth obviously his attitude towards his past doesn't match his story lore ingame and he was only telling us that he is from khaenria to lure dain out who funny enough doesn't know much about him...he knows that Zhongli is the Geo Archon but doesn't know the whole deal with Kaeya? And during the hidden strife event if one finds his box Kaeya was familiar enough with the Clan's affairs that they do not keep records of themselves, doesn't sound like someone who claims that he has not much idea beside his last name

oh shit. if im correct, the only reason why kaeya remained... "human" just with his eye thingy was because he is not a pure-blooded khanreiahn, otherwise the curse would have affected him as much like dainsleif and the other abyss monsters (dainsleif is a special case as he must have done some shit to remain that way)
this is so confusing, calibert clearly was affected by the curse despite not being pure blooded so it doesn’t make sense for this to apply to kaeya
But Dainsleif is a pure blood Khaenri'ahn, yet he is still affected by the curse. It's just that pure bloods are affected differently than the non pure blood Khaenri'ahns.
Khaenri'ahns --> turned into monsters
Pure blood Khaenri'ahns--> cursed to be immortals and erosion
We technically don't know if Kaeya is affected by the curse the same way or if the curse only affects those who lived in Khaenri'ah at the time of its destruction, which would perhaps explain why Kaeya seems to not be affected.

I don't think kaeya is the son, he's only the descendants. But we still don't know what happens to caribert afterward.
I ever read on someone's comment, if we assumed that chlothar already found the way to break the cursed, so caribert turned back into human or any other chlothar's children can live kike a normal human being, and there's kaeya the last descendants of alberich clan. That's why kaeya grown-up with diluc, like a normal human being.

Spoiler Alert:
Kaeya was (as shown in quest) a hilichurl in the past, When his father found him, he tried his best to atleast make his mental condition stable enough to recognize his father and talk to him. He tried his best, he was even willing to bow down to the gods that he once hated for what they did. All he wanted for his son to atleast be back to normal. The medicine he prepared didn't work at first but once he found the strange and huge ominous gem in the abyss (abyss order maybe) it granted his son the mental stability so his son even when he was turned into monster could atleast see his father and talk to him. As we realized that dainsleif was (maybe) wrong about what he thought of this curse (that this curse is irremovable) but in the end of the quest we realized that something happened to his son (after he discovered his face in the mirror which broke him down) cuz he removes his masks and suddenly we cut back to his father being very happy for some reason... was it that his son is fully cured and turned human? and that he can finally rest in coffin after living for so long while facing erosion? I think that's is the case. cuz dainsleif discovers the body of alberich buried in the field which shocks him considering that heavenly principles put curse of immortality on him. How is he dead? that should not have been possible. But as we saw that he was turned to abyss's worshiper cuz he realized that it actually did remove their curse. It also explained why our sibling is so willed to be the prince/princess of abyss cuz they might actually did saw that it possess the power of removing the curse inflicted upon people of khanriah. It actually broke me to see helpless situation of a father and small child who just wanted to live peaceful life. This is not what they had deserved. His son seeing his body turned into monster and him seeing his horrible face in the mirror like can you imagine the the sheer trauma the poor kid had to face while looking at creature that every kid would be afraid to encounter let alone being turned into one, it really broke me. He was just a little innocent kid!!! how can thrones in the sky can be this cruel?
also i want to mention that i really believe that carribert was kaeya i mean who else could it be?
All i want from this game is more Kaeya and Diluc, they seem to be important characters since the release.
Im still slightly annoyed that the hype was all about dain and kaeya, and yet they had naught but a small interaction. They literally were side characters for this quest.😞

So khaneriah is underground and near sumeru meaning it could be behind the desserts of sumeru or between mondstad and sumeru
Imagine if both Sumeru and Monstadt play a big role behind the future Archon quests about Celestia and Khaenri'ah

Actually they almost all are older than 500 years. The beginning of the manga that features Collie’s story was (before) Khaenri’ah fell. 500 years ago. The traveler lived with the Jester who was a royal Madge before the fall of Khaenri’ah. Scaramouche tells the traveler the Jester told him about their sibling. Scaramouche also says he doesn’t know when the traveler’s sibling came to Khaenri’ah or when they left. I also thought Kaeya and Dsinslief meant one another before this. Maybe not.
Not quite, he was left when he was a child and grew along Diluc, so he must be excent of the curse of Khaenriah. As to how his father sent him from the past, i don't really know.
