I’m looking forward to getting my first Japanese whisky. But, I also wanted to know about the prohibition whisky. What bottle is it? So I can also search for that bottle as well. Thank you!
Has to be distilled and bottled in japan, from malted grains like wheat rye and barely or other cereal grains, distilled from Japanese water, and a minimum aging of 3 years.. cheers
Great episode. But i dont understand why people go all gah-gah about Japsk(e)y . . . THey are simple, too light IMO and feel "manufactured" (engineered) than natural , like a Scotch BLEND or VAT of sort.
Enjoyed the discussion, friend. As an American living in Japan, I can confirm that you hit the high points and stated them convincingly. Kanpai.

Can you list the whiskeys? I missed the names of a couple of them.
Other than distilled in Japan with Japanese water, are there any other labeling rules/guidelines?

Thank you for the video. I heard you say Virginia? Northern or Southern VA?
Guessing it’s Ao (Japanese for Blue) as the color of the label.
I'm wondering if you thought to correct the spelling in the video name from whiskey to whisky ?
Whish Whiskey was the second one? I didnt get the name

Your Videos are too gud but don't know why you have less subscribers ❤
So many dad jokes
Spelling Scotch or Japanese whisky with an "e" is a form of cultural imperialism.
All you have to do is read the label and copy the spelling.
