  • My second LEGO Great Ball Contraption (GBC) module, consisting of a single figure endlessly picking up each ball that comes their way.
This is a simple demonstration video of it in action. I will be posting a showcase video in the future where I discuss the design and mechanics.

As others have said, this is an incredible model. The only thing I'd like to see is a second copy that feeds the balls to the starting bin of the first, creating an endless loop of two people creating work for each other.

Or have it so you have a Lego scene where the person is putting the balls into a chute that loads a "cannon" and then have the cannon fire at a specific area and into a small funnel of sorts so The person is basically loading a cannon that then fires and the ball gets fired into the funnel and can continue on to the next GBC contraption.

Yeah either or combined up for those basketball modules but that would just look odd I think
Another thing that could be done that might be interesting would be have a module where this guy puts up on something then it just rolls over a few inches and the other guy knocks it off back to start or maybe even have it look like the guy is kind of clumsy and doing this by accident but

Would love to see a breakdown of the build process for something like this. Specifically, how you're able to get the hands to clasp and release. I see the flat circular plate must press the hands open at the top, but can't figure out how the hands clasp afterwards. Very impressive stuff.
