Great video, the honeycomb has always been an issue for me . One thing, instead of cut and paste in illustrator you could have gone to (release layers "Sequence").
Matt....Thank for the video great content. I'm fairly new working with this program and I wanted to know that once you've created the design, I tried to rasterize and create a vector image but it make the image blurred and cartoonish. Do you have a recommendation to ensure the image is sharp and ready for use?
No problem - and clipping masks work just fine, but I noticed if you used a clipping mask on a bunch of big images inside Illustrator and then try to copy and paste it out into something like Photoshop the program would freak out and freeze / crash. If you're handling all your exporting from Illustrator I don't think that would be an issue.
Oh haha. Yeah I think that boils down to personal preference and whatever works best for you. I really like the flexibility of a standard layer mask, and it's what I've pretty much always used, so that's what I decided to show. If you prefer clipping masks by all means use those instead. :D
No BS, no fancy intro, no nothing, just straight to the point and getting down to business. LOVE IT!
You are a tutor bro 😍😁✌
Learned some good techniques.. thank you so much…
Holy cow! I wish I could learn and work as fast as you talk! I was able to follow along, amazingly, even after downing a margarita!
WOW! I wish I had found this two weeks ago. I've been trying to do the same thing, but going about it all wrong. What an immense help. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
