I think Pacino was kind of campy in Scarface. His most menacing and best performance was as Michael Corleone in The Godfather, I & II. His eyes, expressions and stare said more than any spoken dialog.

Hell yeah, they did their work. I mean most of the time shows like this only profile the main actors, but they profiled almost everybody who played a role in the movie. So I'm surprised they didn't profile the guy who tried to f*ck Gina in the club bathroom.

This was the FIRST rated R movie that my Dad ever took me to see. He said we were having "A Mans night out". I look back to this AMAZING movie with the Fondness of that night as I was only 13 and he died a short 4 years later.
I was a friend of Ted Beniades. His mother in law was my neighbor in Fryburg, Pennsylvania and they would come from New York to see her and he always made time for me. He was a very funny man and loved to joke. I attended his birthday party at Applebee's in Clarion Pa a year or two before he died. No one in the place knew that Seidlebaum was in the house! LOL
I know every line of dialogue in THE GODFATHER from beginning and end. I could sit there, make you listen to the whole movie. Bad dialogue, bad acting hopefully you'd stay with me. Don't walk out after ten minutes.

My favorite line is when Tony hears his friend goofed up with immigration telling them he was in sanitation rather than a sanitarium. "Sanitation? You know what? You should've kept your mouth shut. Then they would've thought you were a horse."
Robert Loggia is such a good actor. He nailed the Hispanic accent to a tee. I always thought he was actually a Latino (although being Italian , it’s pretty close lol)

Plus Murray Abraham grew up in El Paso, TX; a 90% Hispanic city. I’m sure Robert Loggia was exposed to many Hispanics as well growing up in NYC. That’s why the best actors usually have diverse cultural experiences in their youth and enables them to play many “types” of people very well.

I would say that Decaprio and Denzel are not great actors. Having a certain charisma does not equate to great acting. Certainly Brando and Pacino belong on the list.

Righteous. Classic timeless movies 🎥 🍿! Curious as to what modern movies (say 2010 to present) will be classics down the line, I can’t think of much off of the top of my head. I don’t think much can match the era when cinema was in its youth.

I would say that Decaprio and Denzel are not great actors. Having a certain charisma does not equate to great acting. Certainly Brando and Pacino belong on the list.
