- Baba Is You - Baba Is Beta. The first of possibly many videos to come on the beta version of the level editor. Playing new levels is a lot of fun, any Baba fan should check it out on Steam.

Museum is one of two level packs that will be included with the editor once it releases and features unused levels and alternate versions of existing levels. The other is called New Adventures and features levels that help you understand what each of the new words do.

i love the childlike joy in the phrase “baba make level!”
"Childlike joy" is the perfect description of everything relating to Baba. I like to think that Baba has absolutely no idea what he is doing, he just loves to push the words around and happens to destroy space-time.
I also imagine Baba whining whenever he isn't the player character of a level.

Absolutely love this game, a definite masterpiece of game development
I love this game so much, my only problem with it is that I am too dumb to complete most of the levels, still rate it 5/5 though.
Wish there were more easier levels in the main game. I'm so excited for this level editor because I will once again have levels I will be capable of completing.

I've looked at a few custom levels before, and the two packs that impressed me the most are Nonlinearity and Silver Meadow. Sadly, neither video showcasing them has a level code displayed, but those are names to watch out for.
Both apparently were made by Silverhawke, so that author in general is probably one to track.

It's not one-tick, though - meaning the player still has to move (or press "wait") a bunch of times for it to advance its computation
15:22 -- There's actually an alternate solution that I found that involves only opening _one_ bit of wall and _not_ transmutating anything... But I'll leave you all to find out what it is. 🙂
As much as I love this game I just can’t solve a lot of the end-game puzzles. After staring at a level for 3 hours and then looking up a guide and realizing I would have never thought of the solution, I just threw the towel with this game. Simpler puzzles like these are still relaxing though
Here’s an idea: allow for the creation of custom maps with custom levels in them to allow for people to create “level is you” type meta puzzles.
Custom maps with levels and meta puzzles have been around since the original beta release(about a year ago)
That's already available. You need to enable one of the "advanced options" in the settings in order to see it, but the level editor has full support for creating and editing entire level packs. You can do mostly everything the main game can do.
Though, one issue: At launch, online level sharing won't have support for uploading level packs. Dev says it's something to do with security concerns, since level packs can contain an arbitrary amount of levels (and also greater file sizes). It's possible to have an implementation of this in the future, but this is also what is practically a single dev working alone to get a simple online level sharing service working, so we'll see. In the meantime, nothing is stopping you from uploading & downloading level packs from elsewhere, since the game still has 100% support for that regardless. Shame for Switch players though.
The fungus level was really fun for me. I basically turned all the fungi and trees on screen into both a double fungustree and a fungustree text! It was pretty cool having a level let you go way overboard like that
As a post-Baba subscriber (I found you at the start of Bridge Game 2) I can see why you say Baba is You is your favorite game, you are really good at it! Looking forward to seeing the level editor, it’s all new to me anyways lol. 💜

At 14:50, I'm pretty sure after he item duped, he could've made key win with the baba still inside the square, making it faster. Either way, we do what we must to win :)
On the last level you did, I got my solution by opening a wall at the bottom and making DOOR IS SHUT AND OPEN, and then just... won :)
How? Even if you managed to destroy multiple walls, you would not be able to move anything creating "wall is stop and shut"

Fungal trial is an unused baba is you level that is in the files of the game but not used in the main game and the fungal trial you where playing had one block changed to a wall

You found an easier way than I did to free "FIRE" (the word) and the second "IS" -- I used "ME IS MOVE" to make Me push the words "FIRE IS DEFEAT" across, with Baba standing in the "doorway" to push the words down as Me pushes them past. Doable, but I realize now a lot more tedious than using the moving fire.
