Hey Janelle! Watching this again. Just smelled this one today for the first time. Trying to decide if I want to buy it.
Nice! Spray it on and test it out a full day to see how it treats you. I loved it, but some people do prefer the original and think it's too similar to the Intense. I personally thought it was a perfect in between.😁

Great thanks janelle! I came to watch this video because I want the new Burberry Her elixir….I love the original one. That strawberry notes gets me so good! But then you brought Burberry her intense? Now I need it to for the lipstick 💄 scent

I have all 3 but haven’t opened the elixir. I love to layer the original and the intense together with kayali 28! I get compliments all day when I do.

How do u layer do u spray them on top of each other? Or do u just spray both on different spots all over?

I jusssst placed an order for Burberry Her intense. I actually got 2 bottles in case I love it, since it’s discontinued. I ordered from a site in Spain that ships to the US called Sabina. As a bonus, the pricing is in Euros which converts to a much lower price in $.

Also, I live in SC and I noticed that Burberry Her is too much for the heat and humidity. Keep us posted how the new Burberry holds up in the heat in Texas.
Oohh, I don't have Ivory Cashmere, if I get a hold of it, I'll let you know. 🤗 Oohhh goodness was it ever humid down here in South Texas today!! It held up just fine👏 Now just gotta see about heat, but I'm thinking since it's not "syrupy" it'll be golden. 😁
I have Burberry Her EDT and absolutely love it so I sampled the intense and original in store a while back and really liked the intense. I didn’t realize they were going to discontinue it. This Elixir one sounds really good. You have to let us know how the refresher spray and perfume from Gloi perform. I really want to order from them but there are so many choices lol. 😀
I've yet to try the EDT! I have to try soon, especially since it's always hot down here. The Haus of Gloi Pink Marshmallow Milk refresher has been sprayed all over my bed about 3 hours ago! I'm loving it! I'll give it a go on me and let y'all know how it goes. 🤗
I can’t wait to try this.. I love scent notes. I personally love the original Her I know it’s not everyone’s fav but one me it’s so pretty and strawberry. I don’t have the intense and never got to try it. I have the edt but don’t care for it. Thank you so much for this.

I wish they didn’t discontinue Her intense. I don’t know why they did that ! It was my fave, so now i settle for Her Elixir. It is still nice, though.

I'm headed to Macy's this weekend to take advantage of the Labor Day Sale. I will have to stop by the fragrance counter and get my nose on this one. I've never loved anything by Burberry, but you know, once upon a time I said I never loved anything from Mugler. We both know how THAT story ends! 😆

I get what you mean!! I haddd the EDP version for Burberry and I got a free sample of the EDT version and it was beautiful light strawberry and amazing!!! I could not get the elixir it felt almost the same as the edp version. I got it off mercari a 3.3 oz for 40!!! I could not believe it.

👋 Hello 👋 love ❤️ your reviews. I saw a comment comparing Burberry Her Elixir to Xerjoff La Capitale. Does it compare?
Hi there, thanks!!🤗 La Capitale to me is a more complex fragrance with a heavy leathery tone to it. It is a transitional fragrance that gives you a good three different stages of wear. The only thing they have in common is the Strawberry 🍓, but no I don't think they are similar. I just recently tried Byron Parfums Mula Mula and that one does compare to La Capitale but still does not have the leathery feel of La Capitale.
I love it. I was able to get a bottle off eBay. I prefer this one over the original.

Over the original? In my honest opinion, yes. I usually lose the original about 4hrs in, but this new Elixir went a good 12hrs.🤗
How is the projection and silage of the elixir version? Did you get any compliments when wearing it?
The projection was a little further than arms length, the scent bubble was great and lasted all day so I fully enjoyed the fragrance. I did notice a nice sillage, it leaves a good scent trail. I don't normally get compliments, I work with a small group and they're not much into fragrances. My little girl though who is into fragrances absolutely Loved it on me and even wore it to school the next day. 🥰
what would you say is a dupe for her intense? it’s my favorite but so expensive
I honestly haven't come across any dupes, but I think there's a couple that fall into the same type of scent with the berry vibes and the benzoin dry down. I get the same feel from La vie est Belle Intensement for example, and Armani Si Intense. 😊
The notes are so similar to Burberry her intense. I’m so curious to smell the elixir side by side with it !
Yes! They're super similar, but for whatever reason, the Elixir holds on to that Strawberry note while the Intense version is more candied berries.Super interesting! 🤗
I found the elixir to be a mix of the original and intense. It’s not different enough to purchase if you own either or both imo.
@@miscellaneouslife2778 yes I picked it up yesterday and I’m kinda just like eh…. I own the EDT and the Intense because I didn’t really like the original EDP. I don’t think I will be keeping the elixir 🥴🤣
@@BohoGuru yeah I smelled it at a mall near me and I was confused as to why it was made at all. Seems weird to have two perfumers recreate a scent with nearly the same notes as the intense, instead of just keeping the intense made by MFK and him as the perfumer. But I think that’s a political side to perfumery that most consumers don’t care about and they’ll pick up the elixir regardless. Oh well haha
I have never tried Burberry Her or the Intense version, but I am curious, how much of the cherry note, if any, do you pick up in this version? And is it 'perfume-y' at all?
I don't get a cherry feel in this Elixir version, it's a creamy strawberry.😋🍓 I don't get the sour cherry note from the original either. I can pick up some cherry from the Intense version, especially in the opening. It would go great with that cherry almond creme from that Clementine shop actually. No, I wouldn't say it's perfum-y.

Omg I thought I was the only one that didn’t like strawberry pound cake? My 10 year old loves it and she tries to get me to layer with my perfumes…I cant…. I just love the candle and I don’t want to wear it.
I feel like as a Gourmand Fragrance lover, I'm supposed to Love Strawberry Pound Cake and I just can't get with it.🤣
I agree with everything you said 💕 I have a sample of the elixir and I love it so far need to wear it some more to test sillage and longevity. I was never sold on the og either and the longevity was so poor. Great video new subscriber here 💕
