Writing Vlog: Revising, and Reevaluating, My Novel

Sometimes, all you need is a little time away from your own writing (and 11 uninterrupted hours in the car) to get some perspective and some new ideas. I spent the end of December driving around Spain and brainstorming ways to improve the first draft of a novel I wrote in November, and I think I brainstormed my way into a new direction that’s going to be twice as much work... but I guess that’s just the way it goes.
