Wow so pretty! I never thought of piecing narrow strips like that to make such a cute tulip quilt! It looks extra charming than just cutting out three pieces make a tulip and makes each tulip unique! 🌷 I love scrappy quilts! It’s so satisfying to be able to make something from scraps of fabric and they always turn out so beautiful! I’m gonna check out the book too. Thank you Beth for extra inspiration!! 😊
I tell you what. You just keep putting out quilts that I want to make. I love the orange. That does remind me of vintage quilts. My grandson's favorite color is orange. I will have to figure out some pattern for him and use orange sashing. That would make a nice wall hanging using 4 blocks.
Oh my God. Giving me the hope I needed for better warmer days to come. Who cares if I’m crazy! I still like to take my sewing machine out in the porch Ruth my coffee and quilting. Thanks Beth. I like this new pattern for f tulips for me.
Peaceful warm quilt block....it sings 1930's. My Grandma Ethel made daisy style free form blocks with three flowers, stem and two leaves so similar to yours in 1930 right before she passed away, young 33 year old mother of four small children. Her mother, my great grandma raised the children and saved the five quilt blocks. She later framed each one separately and they have been gifted through the generations. I am fortunate enough to have one. Her quilt block and yours are like cousins....warm from the heart. I do have one finished quilt Grandma Ethel made, maple leaf pattern, very special treasure. Your quilt will warm hearts and bodies for generations to come. Blessings for continued videos.
The 🌷l draw a lot one of the favorite flowers fan using up scraps. Keep Rocking 🤙 the good stuff Beautiful person 🤗Burt 🍊 colour of long shaggy great room rug belated MUM choice 😉

This was a great video and really like this project. I just researched this book and purchased it. Like I need another quilting book! LOL...I have so many appliqué books, jelly roll quilting books and scrappy quilting already. But I love colors and easy sewing so this projects seems to be my style for sure. I love pre-cuts- charm squares, jelly roll strips etc. so find your projects to be interesting. Enjoy your channel a lot; simplicity, professional and great directions. Thanks for sharing your projects!

Hello Beth, I love flower locks. I hope they come to the top so my priority list soon. I may have to make an exception and just make them so I have them for Spring ❣️ They really give my spirit a Boost. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, maybe a camp out is in order. I think my husband fixed my computer problem. 🤞 🥰 Chris
Thank you for sharing this block! I also think that is a book that I would really enjoy. I have been going through and processing my scraps. Last night, I found another tin can, like what popcorn comes in during Christmas, FULL of scraps 🤦♀️
I found the book at one of the local libraries and requested it. I'm not a fan of string quilts, but I pre-cut scraps that are at least 1 1/2 inches. I see at least a couple of these tulip quilts in my future 😃
You are so patient, Beth! I would have sewed one-sided sticky stabilizer to iron the pieces onto the 11 inch square with and then would have used my machine to sew them on with, but not you! You hand sewed them all. You're amazing!!!! Beautiful quilt top you made. XO
How sweet! I've always loved Gwen Marston quilts. I had several books by her years ago. Had to downsize when we started the RV lifestyle. So happy that you brought this old one up and looking forward to more oldies but goodies! I so ❤️ your channel, Miss Beth!
What a sweet block 💓 The orange is complementary to the blues! I can't quite tell if your orange and green are 100% cotton. Not that it matters its going to be a charming quilt...have fun
So pretty....i'd love on next video you show close up how you tie off those threads from the back of a block. Looks like a magic trick you are doing!! ha ha
Oh my gosh, what a great quilt!! Great inspiration. I have some leftover dresden blades and seeing the middle of your tulip made my brain say ah ha!! I just have to get busy.

You're almost halfway there! Enjoy yourself! Psst! You can always use your sewing machine to do the applique. Just use a wide zig-zag stitch 🥰👍.
I found the book at one of the local libraries and requested it. I'm not a fan of string quilts, but I pre-cut scraps that are at least 1 1/2 inches. I see at least a couple of these tulip quilts in my future 😃

I can’t wait to see this finished❣️👏 Thank You Beth, Chris
I got a big chest full of scrap material gotta deal with it this sounds like a good way to use up a lot of it
That orange is quite striking. I never buy orange unless it is included in the line of fabric I bought to make a quilt.
I never used to use orange either. Now it finds its way into almost every quilt I make.
LINDO de MAIS 😍😍😍
That’s lovely. I think I’ll have a go at that Beth. Have you ever done a puff quilt?
I have not
Lokes absolutely lovely my goodness you always make the most gorgeous quilts. I love you easy explanations and your choice of music is perfect 🥰 for your style. Truly enjoy your channel and rewatch so many of them. Thank you so much for sharing. If one wished to sens you some fabric where does one send too?
I have P.O. Box listed in description box
Wow
Would it be easier and faster to string piece a rectangle and then cut the whole tulip shape from that?
try it! You may love the results.
❤
Thank you for everything you do❤. I wanted to make this one as well the link for the book there’s none left.
This book is very expensive, but if you go to CT publishing, you can download the book for 16.99 if you join email list you can get 20 percent off that price
Thanks for that information!
Man, you make everything look so EASY! Must just be those 5-thumb hands I have that make things difficult for me. LOL But I really love this pattern; do you have a video of the finished quilt?
Here it is ruclips.net/video/uAmOBdSxbbw/видео.html
Perhaps the orange sashing was originally red. Red is a color that fades easily.
I truly enjoy your quiet way of bringing us into your creative space and sharing your whimsy.
I believe I have that same rotary cutter - I haven't seen blade replacements for it. Where do you get yours?
Amazon. 👍
28cm? Size, great for curves
Could you do the Amish string star in that book?
I'll put it on the list!
How will you quilt this? I don’t have any experience with appliqué blocks. It’s going to be a lovely quilt.
I hope to share progress on this quilt as I complete it
