This might be the greatest game of all time. This was such a roller coaster. These were two really good teams for the most part, Texas just fell apart after this. There were so many unbelievably great plays in this game.
I can't believe I missed these. Osborne 1) won only 2 bowls over coaches that had a winning bowl record at the time of the bowl game. 2) won his NCs against Neb's 1st, 2nd and 4th easiest schedules of the 90s

When Caleb Williams ran that 66 yards and fought off all those defenders and dove in the end zone, it was like it was him against the entire Texas team and that lit the Oklahoma players up then, and it was like an awakening or something . wow! Spencer is a very very good QB but he had a tough day and didn't look happy about Calebs success and it is a bad look and it will hurt him.
Mind blowing game!! Riley would have been playing in the playoffs that following year instead of playing Tulane. It would have made more sense to leave OU after Caleb would have left after His career was done at OU….Anyways this is why college football is the best sport to watch live or at home!! Incredible!!

When the game started to get back close I was transported back to my years at OU. I was a member of the Pride of Oklahoma in 1996. OU came into OU/TX 0-3. We fought back and ended regulation with the same exact score that the 1995 tie game ended. As we watched James Allen we rushed the field. Now with the traditions of the game. When the game is over the band from the winning team plays postgame and the losing has to stand and watch. Also the Ruf/Neks and Silver Spurs had a bet that ended with the loser getting their head shaved on the 50. We surrounded the Silver Spurs and blew their ear drums out with Boomer Sooner! It was exactly what this game is about. As this game progressed and we fought back into the game. I love this game EVERY YEAR! Rankings, win loss records, talent, never matter in this game. It’s a fight from opening kick to the final gun. Boomer!
I was a student at OU then and went to the game also! Punt return for a TD towards the end and then James Allen going off! A Texas fan asked me after the game how it felt to be 1-4, I asked him how it felt to be beat by a team that was 1-4...great memories!

If Riley doesn't make Williams the starter he'll be in serious trouble because it's not a game anymore, the fans wanna win and if he can't give that to us then we'll have to find a coach who can.

I saw that from the stands on Saturday and thought that was poor sportsmanship from him and that’s not being a team player. The refs make this game so hard to watch. I'm used to ou getting away with holding on every third down, but when they confirmed the catch after the receiver went out of bounds on his own, I knew UT's lead wasn't safe.
