The modding community never seems to disappoint 👍
At least modders give us good medium sized 6x6s and 8x8s👍
Honestly, Saber should just offer some of these modders jobs on the dev team. Imagine the DLCs we'd get.

They already tried that but It can't work..here's why...Modders want some creative freedom but saber can't give it to them because they also have to think about various other things like stability of game on all platform, copyright avoiding, etc stuff....A good example would be Zikz Mastodon, Its made by RNG (one of the best modding teams) but yet truck is not upto RNG standards and they themselves admit this on their discord...This is because saber didn't or couldn't give them enough freedom to make it the way they want....RNG even made a good looking medium log addon for truck but for some reason saber didn't add that to game...Its available as mod right from the release of Mastodon.
@@SD1ONE I agree, also having a small base game allows it to be played on a lot of systems, then one has the freedom to download an extra 3gb of addons if he wants. At the end it gives the player more freedom as well.

I really like that truck Z2 GSDF with the hidden crane, nice idea
Its crane is useless, you can't pick up cargo from the ground
It might be but still a nice concept nonetheless....Z2 do make a lot of Experimental stuff
Great video as always. Oh gods, now I am going to have to add these into my game and try them! I'm slowly building a list of trucks mods I really like, based on mod quality.
Please add which mods are available for console and which are not! That way you can skip this truck in the video, since it is not available for you anyway. In my case the Kama3 ☹️
hard to tell but the one with brand name associated with them like Kamaz, MAN, etc sure would not be on console... but others are also not guaranteed

Yeah, it's too bad not more of these are on console. Don't know why they can't just work across the board on all.
@@The6Guest Bringing the mods to consoles has a few hurdles. As far as I understand, there are no real tools for consoles to test their mods beforehand for suitability. The developers then release the mod at some point and only then can the modder see whether it worked or whether he needs to make improvements or something like that. Furthermore, modders don't earn any money from it except for donations and they are primarily PC gamers. Therefore, they don't place too much value on console gamers.
Xbox just got it's first mod a v12 diesel powered ATV about 6 feet long it was able to tow f-750 with the engine off

Watched this hoping to find some good new mods but I already have 9/10 of them! I'm super picky with my mods and I agree these deserve a shout out, they fit in nicely without feeling like they break the game, I do find the rear of the Z2 heavy crane addon catches rocks a fair bit but its understandable considering the design of it.

I would LOVE to recommend DANBOAT mod (for PC, PS, XBOX). 5 trucks: BAZ-69481M, BAZ-6944 and BAZ-5937, 2 versions of 6944 and 5937 have "floating" versions. With these, after engaging you can cross water no matter the depth of it. I strongly recommend checking it out.

I use the mustang 6560 as a heavy crane truck, it is decently fast with always on awd and diff lock, but is slightly top heavy with the heavy crane truck
truck is actually very stable but that crane is so heavy that it makes even that stable truck top heavy
interesting mods,
i wish devs actually putted more effort into logging,
since without mods it would be quite not fun experience particullarly when it comes to the OVERSIZED Log cranes and their inability to attach a normal cargo like in Spintires...
Yeah, Michigan logging mission suck too
When trucks in-game aren't your style the modders is always there for you

The 3-slot trailer is something they should add to the game as standard.
Just when I thought I was getting burned out on Snowrunner for the moment you give me at least 6 or 8 mods that I feel the need to jump on and try out immediately. Back to Michigan again I guess.

The trailer from the MAN KAT mod is broken, if you try to buy it, it says there is not enough space, even tho there is nothing near it

On console, the ANK pack has an engine sound mix from the Kenworth 963 or, in other variants, the ANK MK 38. A real disappointment.
There's one model that has the best sound out of them...imo...I don't know about console though

Why are the modders making better stuff than the devs? It's just sad. The devs need to step up their game.
modders actually dont have to worry about copyright or stability of game on all platforms..thats why modders would always do better job than devs not only in SR but other games as well
@@SD1ONE Yeah, but come on, the snowrunner devs have just gotten lazy. Those custom add ons should have been a thing since launch. Now that they made tons of money, more so. Those don't require licenses, or affect stability.
I don't know if it's devs fault or their corporate bosses who don't give them enough time to make such things like custom addons etc stuff... they only want to make things that make money like new DLCs, maps etc
