How to Make a Whiskey Smash, the Bourbon Cocktail That's Minty and Refreshing

A whiskey sour can be approached a handful of ways to tame the astringent tannins from the bourbon you choose. Egg whites can be used to tame those tannins and in a Whiskey Smash, you use mint. In this episode of Cocktails for Adults Craft cocktail bartender and Robb Report columnist Jason O'Bryan shows how home bartenders can mix a Whiskey Smash cocktail at home, using bourbon, lemon, mint and simple syrup. It's a great way to make whiskey a refreshing drink.
