- Hey Slingers! This week, we can finally reveal something we've been working on for a while now, and we are so excited to share it with you! We were given a massive opportunity by being invited to take our newest plane to Sacramento, CA, and premiere it at the state Capitol Building for California Aviation Day! Stay tuned to see us get the plane ready, and the event - including some beautiful footage and interviews of California Assemblyman and more!
Ever since we started our journey in Torrance, we've been making a conscious effort to be respectful members of our community. Without them, we wouldn't be able to grow and thrive to build up a community of our own at Sling Pilot Academy. The Sling Whisper is part of our promise to our community; we've taken a lot of care and thought in making what was previously a dream into a reality.

Can you explain what goes into the whisper sling or how it’s noise compares with traditional sling? Thanks!
The program has focused on an objective decrease in sound dB and making the sound subjectively more pleasing to the human ear by decreasing the pitch and muffling the sound. We are going for a ‘low hum’.
Modifications are threefold and include muffler and long silencer, whisper propeller and acoustic damping of the engine compartment.
The sound quality has dramatically improved and the dB level decreased to the low 60’s. Recent tests at SMO and LGB airports returned a ‘Did Not Register’ in terms of a noise event.
We will be releasing several videos showing the modifications in detail in the near future.

Congratulations Matt!
This is so needed. If airplanes are quiet enough to not be noticed then most karens won't even know that there is an airport nearby to try and close!
That is well and fine, but you are misunderstanding the motivations of some. The totalitarians just want poverty to make people controllable
I love the Sling Tsi, and would love to see a video about the Sling Tsi with Rotax 916. But what the heck was that video about? You haven't revealed anything about the Sling Whisper.

@SlingPilotAcademy How frequent do classes begin for full time accelerated program students? Thanks!
We have class dates that begin every 3 months starting February!
@@SlingPilotAcademy So next class is in May?
Yes - The May class is currently at capacity, but you can join the waitlist! Feel free to call in to our main number and ask questions 1 (424) 250 0648
You don't actually explain what it is. It's some kind of longer muffler. What's the benefit in decibels? isn't most of the noise from the propeller? would a curve bladed prop be better?
Seems rather symbolic more than real.
There will be a video coming out this Saturday to explain why what we changed and why we did it!

@@SlingPilotAcademy interesting. LSAs tend to sound like loud tractors. If they could sound like a suzuki scooter that would mean a lot.

Woke California. It would be nice to know what you did except put a sticker on it
You also didn’t watch the video!
@@JustaPilot1 only about half sorry for the comment
@@berniebrown9115 well had you watched the video you would know what they did.
In your own words, explain "woke"...
