@samraiz shoaib some people need to focus more on diet and workout than others the slower metabolism the more you need to focus on healthy food and the amount of hours you exercise per week

@samraiz shoaib 2h in the gym is a lot. Yates trained an hour a day, four times a week (and is obviously larger and better conditioned than Sergio). Also, I don't think anyone here is gonna argue that Yates didn't train hard. You don't need to spend three, four hours at the gym. Ofc we only figured out that later, back in the day people were spending three hours in the gym, so i can only imagine them losing their shit over Olivia being that size with "only" two hours. maybe those two hours were good for someone with a "sub optimal" diet and is what allowed him to have that conditioning. Also, yes, his "gym ethics" weren't nothing special, but they still were phenomenal, as they have to be for most bodybuilders. What I am saying is he had average work ethics compared to most bodybuilders, but was outstanding compared to your average joe.
Sergio definitely had very bad form during his biceps training from every video I've seen of him. Swinging excessively and going super fast is definitely a way to tear the muscle. I cringe just watching him.....but I did always like the guy and his physique. But damn learn to train correctly..
Aaron Baker is such a great bodybuilder. During his competing days he had it all, large thick muscles, great proportions, flawless posing. He deserves a whole video. As always great job creating such quality bodybuilding videos nicvision👍
Aaron Baker, was a really nice person too. I met and talked to him a few times at Venice Golds. He looked better in the gym than he did on stage though.

What Kevin could do in a few months, no one else could ever do. That’s his one of a kind attribute. Lee has the crazy forearms and biceps and triceps. Flex has the symmetry and completeness and aesthetics, Coleman had the mass, strength and conditioning with crazy hard work ethic, and Joel Stubbs clearly had the craziest back ever. At least lats. I think Brian Buchanan is the most underrated considering he had like a 24 inch waist and had enormous lats and enormous aesthetic arms. Dude looked like an unachievable structures/physique combos. And let’s not forget Phill in 2011…he had it all and was probably second to Ronnie in 03.
to be fair, nearly half of these dudes debuted under Dorian and competed directly against Ronnie, also listed. it's like highlander, there can only be one. and Vic as i understand was never really interested in the olympia.

Aaron Baker - he's never been my fav bb, but I can remember a time in the 90 when I bought M&F with his pics - in one picture his shoulders looked insane! Back then in my country BB magazines were extremely expensive and considering the fact I was still at school, that was a sacrifice!
Craig Monson deserves an honorable mention not only was he very muscular but his bone structure itself was just bigger than majority of these guys, he really was a big guy

Nice to see Matt Mendenhall in the video as Lee Haney was right, some of the best genetics and no weak body parts if only Matt had a driven mindset like a Dorian Yates and he would have won his Pro Card and probably could have given Lee Haney a run for the money on the Olympia stage. Matt was truly the most genetically gifted bodybuilder to not utilize his full potential. Although I respectfully believe you should have included Dennis "Super Human" Newman. If Matt Mendenhall was the living real life He-man, Dennis was the live version of Superman! One of the youngest to win his pro card as a heavyweight, and one of the fastest rising star in bodybuilding before he even won his pro card. Dennis was blessed with good looks, size, shape and an aesthetic symmetrical physique but before he could compete in his first pro show he was diagnosed with leukemia and he was never able to really get back into competition like before. If we are considering only genetics, then i look at height, shoulder and waste skeletal structure and muscle insertions. From these criteria, i think Paul Dillett stands out followed by Sergio Oliva and Flex Wheeler
Charles glass is the guru of bodybuilding. Almost every pro bodybuilder in the 90’s went to him. Ronnie Coleman competed at 220 then he went to see Charles glass and he became a beast. This video had Charles glass with Paul dillet.
most of them also had the perfect insertion genetics to begin with, couple that with the best response to drugs and super hard work and you get these guys, if i'd take their stack and work like them i would be bigger for sure but i wont look close to that probably

I can confirm the veracity of the story about Kevin Levrone. The man would transform from an average Joe physique to world class bodybuilder in 6 months! Others would blow up with off-season fat and water but Kevin would literally shrink to size medium until the next competition. For a while I truly thought that Kevin Levrone had an identical twin and was creating a ruse to gain notoriety/fame... Crazy genetics...

Genetics for me , is not only muscular development ,symmetry etc but also reaching a descent age before you get your leg chop off or you die in your sleep for a heart failure or your kidneys stop working at 45. True good genetics play a major role on how many issues caused by EPD and other substances an ex bodybuilder will have. That though is my humble opinion……

I can confirm the veracity of the story about Kevin Levrone. The man would transform from an average Joe physique to world class bodybuilder in 6 months! Others would blow up with off-season fat and water but Kevin would literally shrink to size medium until the next competition. For a while I truly thought that Kevin Levrone had an identical twin and was creating a ruse to gain notoriety/fame... Crazy genetics...

Genetics for me , is not only muscular development ,symmetry etc but also reaching a descent age before you get your leg chop off or you die in your sleep for a heart failure or your kidneys stop working at 45.
True good genetics play a major role on how many issues caused by EPD and other substances an ex bodybuilder will have.
That though is my humble opinion……
