Hey team- if you love Archer I highly recommend checking out my man Binging with Babish and his take on Eggs Woodhouse. His whole channel is pretty spectacular actually: ruclips.net/video/eVgmI-YF16g/видео.html
adding kahlua or irish cream works *incredibly* well. used to make hot chocolate back in college with Ice 101 or Rumplemintze (peppermint schnapps), a shot of kahlua and a shot of irish cream.
I was beyond excited with this channel before this series, and now you just recreated a drink from one of my favorite shows. YOU JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER.
I believe there is some form of obligation with such a series to present a correct White Russian. Thanks for the awesome inspiration, you have brought me to appreciate coctails and their preparation a lot more. (PS. old fashioned whith a smokey single malt scotch is amazing)
made a drink somewhat similar to the peppermint patty once. a cup of rich hot chocolate, 1/2 oz of peppermint schnapps, some crushed mint candies (both melted into the hot chocolate and on top as a garnish), and 1 1/2oz of Old Monk rum. now that is a truly awesome beverage
I thank you so much for showing me how to make one of these! I am a huuuge fan of the show, so by adding jokes from the series in this tutorial you really gave me a good laugh! I just love your channel, so keep on the great work!
Tried this out it based on the recipe listed it was really good, definitely has that peppermint kick shine through the hot chocolate, would serve to someone who needed cheering up or a cold winter to warm up~
As someone who's a bit of an Archer connoisseur, and NOT heavy drinker, but want's to start learning about quality drinks... Bravo on the references sir. Bravo
Binging with Babish does the food, you tend the Bar. Somebody needs to put together a gofundme to get them together and have the greatest pop culture restaurant in the world.
Great video and I love that you added in some sound clips from Archer. I cant wait to try this drink out, but I have a feeling archer would have used slightly different ratios.
I do 2 parts hot cocoa 1 part peppermint schnapps then a shot of both cremes. Still tastes awesome and isn’t weak if you don’t want to add brandy that is
Good times! The bits of Archer edited into this and the puniness in general is great, makes it more than just your average cocktail recipe video. A bit funny you used a $70 bottle of armagnac with DeKuyper creme de menthe though. Tempus Fugit has a version that would probably be a better companion for the quality of the other ingredients. Just a thought. :-)
It was a very nice video(and gave more than one chuckle), and archer is a very nice show. Will you be adding the other two cocktail recipes to your site?
I make a big batch of these around when my sisters come around for Christmas, but instead of powder mix I use bars of chocolate (I get the real good high quality stuff) and cut them up.
If you're still doing these (and they're great) there is an obscure show called Danger 5 and every episode (there are only 5) ends with a drink recipe.
Me personally I don’t use creme de menthe at all, I just use rumplemintz because unlike most peppermint schnapps’ rumpies is 100 proof, and also absurdly pepperminty. So it ends up being fairly strong without the Brandi.
can you guys help? I made a cocktail last night and want to know if it's been done before? so I didn't have lime.....I made a variation of the kentucky mule with 50ml bourbon, 25 lemon juice, 10 ml velvet falernum topped with ginger beer and double dash of orange bitters and mint. it was delicious. thanks :)
While this sounds pretty good (especially for a cold winter day) I usually prefer drinks with few ingredients of high quality with my current favourite being a rusty nail or just a good single malt (if that counts)
I'm wondering is going with some really dark, unsweetened bakers chocolate, melting that with cream, would make it a little less sweet. There's gotta be enough sugar in the schnapps to sweeten it up plenty.
Dirty Wastelander (Fallout 4, can use Dr. Pepper as substitute for Nuka Cola) VDNKh Mushroom Vodka (Metro 2033) Stalker’s Delight (my own recipe): 12 parts Kompot (homemade fruit juice, recipes available online) 1 part Rakija (or any other kind of fruit brandy) 3 parts red wine 1 part Absolut Pepper 1 part Hrenohuva
Just a minor note: Things taste different at different temperatures. In the episode ("The Archer Sanction") Archer was out in the cold while imbibing this concoction.
*@Cocktail Chemistry* It's cheating to use factory made chocolate powder ;P Use this: *2-3 Tbsp of 100% cacao powder* (maybe 4 if you want a really powerful cacao) *2 Tbsp of brown sugar* (preferably Muscovado sugar or some other brown sugar) *1 Tbsp of vanilla sugar.* (play around with the amounts until you find the taste that suits you) Flavorings (choose one (or mix at your own risk)): * 1 ml cinnamon * 1 ml Mint essence * 1 ml to 1 Tbsp maple syrup (It kind of raises the fat flavor so it tastes like it has cream but it's still only milk) *

Honoring "Phrasing" and that bottle of whiskey with a Glengoolie label on it was like a big warm tingling carress on my soul.
"C'mon Lana! That's worth ,like, thirty bucks a glass".
Phrasing!

adding kahlua or irish cream works *incredibly* well. used to make hot chocolate back in college with Ice 101 or Rumplemintze (peppermint schnapps), a shot of kahlua and a shot of irish cream.
Irish cream or chocolate irish cream exactly?

Only I'm not gettin whipped with a fan belt."😞
Thank you! amazing! Big fan of both Archer and this channel
Making a drink from Archer that isn't the Horatio Cornblower is blasphemy.
The super smooth commentary, with brilliant editing is lovely on the ears and a blessing on the eyes... thank you sir 🙏😀
Test some James Bond cocktails, like the Vesper from Casino Royale
+1 for the Vesper from Casino Royale!
+EnochLight Martini, bourbon, vodka and lemon, right? Maye (in Litros) 1/2 martini, 1/4 bourbon , 1/4 Vodka? for four or three persons.
Camiel Lemmens Oh he HAS to do the Vesper. Phrasing.
That isn't whats in a Vesper
made a drink somewhat similar to the peppermint patty once. a cup of rich hot chocolate, 1/2 oz of peppermint schnapps, some crushed mint candies (both melted into the hot chocolate and on top as a garnish), and 1 1/2oz of Old Monk rum. now that is a truly awesome beverage

As someone who's a bit of an Archer connoisseur, and NOT heavy drinker, but want's to start learning about quality drinks... Bravo on the references sir. Bravo
I am absolutely loving Take Five as your background music. Suits your show perfectly
Binging with Babish does the food, you tend the Bar. Somebody needs to put together a gofundme to get them together and have the greatest pop culture restaurant in the world.
Great video and I love that you added in some sound clips from Archer. I cant wait to try this drink out, but I have a feeling archer would have used slightly different ratios.
best vid on the channel so far! nearly spat out my boulevardier in the end! great job keep up the good work!
If you purchase the How To Archer book there is a whole chapter on various cocktails, it is fantastic.
Best episode so far.
I do 2 parts hot cocoa 1 part peppermint schnapps then a shot of both cremes. Still tastes awesome and isn’t weak if you don’t want to add brandy that is

Just tried this today with my dad and brothers. Flipping amazing.
It was a very nice video(and gave more than one chuckle), and archer is a very nice show.
Will you be adding the other two cocktail recipes to your site?
One of the animators actually has a whole site dedicated to all the recipes, check it domirillo.com/
awesome episode man ! these series/movie themed drinks are the best !
The background song is "take five " if anyone is wondering. love it!
This is my new favorite channel.

The best hot cocoa (Burlington VT) uses both cocoa powder and bitter chocolate in (full fat) whole milk.

If you're still doing these (and they're great) there is an obscure show called Danger 5 and every episode (there are only 5) ends with a drink recipe.
name of the song: '' Take Five ''.
Do the black mexican please

Haha love this! I just watched that episode the other day. Currently running through it all on netflix again.
can you guys help? Ah yeah! I’ve been waiting for this one lol!!
While this sounds pretty good (especially for a cold winter day) I usually prefer drinks with few ingredients of high quality with my current favourite being a rusty nail or just a good single malt (if that counts)

Nice, this video dropped in my birthday.

Do your take on the "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster"
definite thumbs up for the archer quotes lol
You should do some of the things from danger 5. Pretty much every episode has a cocktail recapie included
I'm wondering is going with some really dark, unsweetened bakers chocolate, melting that with cream, would make it a little less sweet. There's gotta be enough sugar in the schnapps to sweeten it up plenty.
I subscribed to you cause I liked the bingeing with babish style you do
I don't even drink and I love this show
Dirty Wastelander (Fallout 4, can use Dr. Pepper as substitute for Nuka Cola)
VDNKh Mushroom Vodka (Metro 2033)
Stalker’s Delight (my own recipe):
12 parts Kompot (homemade fruit juice, recipes available online)
1 part Rakija (or any other kind of fruit brandy)
3 parts red wine
1 part Absolut Pepper
1 part Hrenohuva
I love that you actually took the time to create a label for glengoolie blue! What whiskey was it actually?
johnny walker :)
Any of the drinks from Danger 5 would be awesome!
Differently will try on Christmas right before family gets in
Just a minor note: Things taste different at different temperatures. In the episode ("The Archer Sanction") Archer was out in the cold while imbibing this concoction.
Bruh I dig the channel, I've been re watching/binge-watching. I want to try this and chef up the hot chocolate mix from Good Eats to use in it.
"Make sure you get it all in there"
"Phrasing"
Are we still doing 'phrasing'?
I've always wanted to try the peppermint patty drink! Maybe do the black Russian drink he makes up?
Who could dislike this
LOL so happy someone made this!! How psyched are you for the new season?? :)
ready to enter the danger zone
This man has Glengoulie... You Sir are a legend
Nice detail with the Glengoolie Labels, but I'm 98% sure that they used a triangular Bottle like Glenfiddich.
Holy shit the editing was excellent :)
1:33 You did , almost as good as a native french .
maybe less emphasis on the crème ( It's more like krem instead of craym )
can you brew butter bear from harry potter? although its not a cocktail :|
Since Twin Peaks is coming back in the next few months, it would be cool to see your take on the Black Yukon Sucker Punch!
You gotta do more of these from archer
1000% awesome. Perfect. Keep it up.
*@Cocktail Chemistry* It's cheating to use factory made chocolate powder ;P
Use this:
*2-3 Tbsp of 100% cacao powder* (maybe 4 if you want a really powerful cacao)
*2 Tbsp of brown sugar* (preferably Muscovado sugar or some other brown sugar)
*1 Tbsp of vanilla sugar.*
(play around with the amounts until you find the taste that suits you)
Flavorings (choose one (or mix at your own risk)):
* 1 ml cinnamon
* 1 ml Mint essence
* 1 ml to 1 Tbsp maple syrup (It kind of raises the fat flavor so it tastes like it has cream but it's still only milk)
*
Just...completely awesome. 👍
100 proof peppermint schnapps, perfect!
Psst. If you change your framerate from 30 to 24, you can get the cinematic look your show is leaning towards.
29.97 and 23.98, before a videohead corrects me.
Dave brubeck is my fav jazz legend
cam you make the black mexican
You should do the Alaskan Polar Bear Heater from the original Nutty Professor!
I hate the taste of alcohol yet I just watch this channel for his voice
Glengoolie Blue! I want that bottle...
please do more of the Archer drinks
Dude I love your pot. They are perfect for pouring. Where can I get one?
