A new episode that fast! What a treat! Thank you! I love everything! Lisa, your Subtle Interruption is really gorgeous! Melissa’s Dotted Rays yarn combination is very tempting as well! I could write 3 pages with every single item you show that I ❤️ ! Thank you for all those temptations and futur projects to think about !
happy to hear you will be carrying Akara yarns ... her colours and bases are all so beautiful - I've used them for crochet sweaters as well as handwoven shawls -- love the results!
All of the patterns, designs, and luxurious yarns you showcase are very simple and sophisticated looking. I love every single one I see! I also need one of those "pencil cases". I might have to treat myself to one after Christmas. Hope you deliver to your neighbors in the States down here. Love you both and your podcast. You're so much fun to watch!
Hi Melissa and Lisa! I'm not done watching the podcast yet but you mentioned Akara Yarns is from Kingston. She is a friend of mine and she is from Bond Head, Ontario (not Kingston). Her yarn is gorgeous and you will love it! Her trunk show is sure to be a hit! :)
Ladies: So delighted you’re surrounded once again by all that yarnie lusciousness. Where else can I get to look at all that eye candy and learn French at the same time? Great episode! Carla @ nycSox
I love your podcast and watch to see your gorgeous knits!! This week I got depressed watching, because I can’t buy all the stunning suggestions. Maybe one day. To knit anything you ladies knit, in the yarn you use would be such a dream! But I do get some exciting ideas :) And I live in Ontario, so there’s the proud Canadian thing I feel when I see your gorgeous knits. Merry Christmas ladies ❤️🇨🇦
Please don't feel depressed! Before we owned the store we worked hard to find nice yarns to knit with and we took our time and just knit what we could afford and what we could find in our neighbourhood:-)
I used to use a magnetic board like you showed before I discovered the wonderful Knit Companion app. There’s a free version that you can try. It allows you to load your chart into a PDF file and view it on a screen. I use my iPad. It has a highlighter that highlights the row and a vertical marker to mark your position as you progress along the row. I have also purchased a subscription for extra features which allows you to use different coloured highlighters for different parts of the pattern and this would work well for marking a pattern repeat or highlighting the size you’re making in a pattern with multiple sizes.
As always, a wonderful episode of yarny goodness! Your Subtle Interruption is an isosceles trapezoid. (Geometry teacher😉) I think the Bonjour Hi is calling my name:)
You are right and I had that written in my pattern but then totally forgot what it was when we were talking about it on the podcast 😂! See, that's why we get nervous because we know we are going to forget things and mess up!!!
I need so much more yarn, needles and patterns after watching your podcast. SO DANGEROUS. (But I've had that magnetic board for ages; cross-stitchers use them a lot!)
Hello, sorry if the translation is not good, I am French. I did not understand how to start and stop light gray wool on the "subtle interruption". I have the knitting pattern.
Will you show your scarves around your necks so I can see the shape and then show how you wrap them so elegantly. Love it but can’t duplicate. Thank you so much!
I always enjoy your videos! My only disappointment is that your store isn't closer. One day hopefully this never year I will get up there. I feel like I've said this before. LOL Anyway keep up the amazing work! Oh those pom poms are SO cute!
I’m dying to make so many of the patterns you shared. But I’m most especially excited about the Droplet, Bonjour, and Melissa’s yet to come, Turtle Dove Mash up. I’ve already made 3 Turtle Doves and I love all of them. But I do prefer fingering/sport/dk weight yarns so I’m super excited and will be watching closely for it’s release. Do you think it will be available before the new year?
Malheureusement Melissa ne parle pas français alors cela ne sera pas disponible;-) Merci de nous suivre quand même et peut-être Sylvie tu réussira à comprendre un petite plus anglais à force de nous écouter 😊!
Happy New Year! Melissa, could I ask when you knit with mohair do you alternate skeins? That would be 4 cakes of yarn? Or would you wind them together first? Or not alternate. Thanks.
If you are still looking for a venue think about a senior independent living residence. Often they have a pub-style room with good lighting, nibbles and often are very inexpensive as long as the event is open to their own residents.
Always one of my favorite podcast videos. Your aesthetic so matches my own - so love seeing everything on and off your needles. Will you be at VKL NYC in January?
It's easy to swatch in the round and cut and use up all that yarn when you have a yarn shop - but for those of us on a budget who usually can only afford the minimum amount of yarn for a sweater it seems like a real waste.. So it would be great if someone came up with a reliable way of swatching for garments knit in the round where you didn't have to sacrifice $20 worth of yarn.
You can still swatch in the round and just not cut your yarn, just make sure to leave very long loose strands. Just because we own a yarn shop doesn't mean that we waste yarn and take what we have for granted;-) If we did that, we wouldn't be smart and responsible business woman 😊.

How happy to watch you again! I think your subtle interruption shawl is fantastic! And loved your petites pochettes! Genius! 💕
Thanks so much for the lovely compliments:-)
Another fabulous evening spent with you whilst knitting. Great to catch up on all your makes and stock.
La Bien Aimee has a sophisticated glow to their yarn.
I love your podcast and always look forward to the next one!
You make amazing recommendations! I love this community!

I just received my package of La Bien Aimée Sport in Winterfell - the colour is exquisite! Thanks for bringing this yarnie goodness into our lives!
We are happy to indulge Leea 😊!

We actually know the ladies who are helping to promote Knit Companion and it is a great tool but I am just too old school, I like my paper products:-)

Espace Tricot No need to be nervous. You always have an excellent podcast filled with beautiful projects that draw us to want to make them!
I'm feeling the love in this episode, thank you so much!
We miss you Diana and so nice to hear from you and hope you are settling in well!! Indeed the two became one 😂!

Glad to hear that you are on team magnetic board Wendy 😂!
@@EspaceTricotPodcast I super am, but the plastic sheet protector idea is level-up clever, so props to you!

@@EspaceTricotPodcast 😂 I'm going to start that hashtag on Instagram - I've got to hop to it! Please, everyone, join me. 🧶
I see those cute pencil cases as a perfect make up case :) when you have to do some touches in a public toilet :)
Indeed it's the perfect case for everything 🤗!
Great podcast!! Have the petite pouches been added to your website? I can't seem to locate them! :o)

Fantastic! Melissa is working hard on getting it done, but we have so much on our plate right now that there are no guarantees;-)

My mom is 86 yrs old and has been doing the “Magnet thing” for about 70 yrs!! 😁😁 What’s old is definitely “New” again👍🏻😀
I guess she had it right from the beginning 😊!

Unfortunately we double booked and we have a weekend with Arounna from Bookhou at the same time. We will however be at Stitches West!
An isosceles trapezoid? Love your new shawl!
Thanks Karen 😊!
Lovely to see you again ladies xx why don’t you bring a caterer to your new knitting space? Xx
That will be for special events;-)
You can call the shape of the Subtle Interruption Shawl-a trapezoid
Soak has way too many chemicals in it. Love Eucalan.
J'adore votre podcast! Serez vous ouvert le 27 décembre? Je serai à montreal pour le week end!
Merci Manon ! Oui! Nous serons fermé le 25-26 et ouvert vendredi 27 de 10h30 à 17h00.
Super! J'irai faire un tour le 27!

Silly me....I thought the shawl was named after le fleuve St. Laurent !!!! 😊
Why not! We have lots of St. Laurents around here 😂!
Too bad that Knit City is in March. Many Canadian snowbirds are not back home yet at that time of the year. 🥴
So sorry you'll miss it.
thank you for so ball bands
So sorry Eileen but I don't seem to understand your message.

Hi
FYI Pia Kamenborn changed her name to Sofia.
Thanks for the heads' up.
