It’s a constant loop. C&P examiners never check off the Total social & occupational block. I believe the Va instructs them not to check it off. So you go the TDIU route and they use the same DBQ form which again, they won’t check off the total block thus denying TDIU. VA needs to create a separate DBQ for TDIU alone

Can you get tdiu without sending forms to former employers? I don't even talk to people about my VA disabilities much less tell the entire community. They are very embarrassing. My disability is cognitive impairment. Many can tell but most don't know I take medication and am diagnosed.
Can you be approved without everyone knowing??

@Mr Hill, I am age 75 with 90% and the VBA has not answered my TDIU claim. I need help therefore these three questions: 1, Which of your attornmeys would be best for my TDIU representation? 2. What is the fee for initial consult? 3. Would you, Mr. Hill, take my call? Best, Robert

Annoying thing about TDIU even P and T there are states like Colorado that don't count that as 100% so no tax exemption

How does TDIU effect VRE benefits - specifically if you are using them to go to school?

As far as I know until you get a job it doesn't matter. But having a degree may duck with that

Did you say 100% is around $1,000 per month? It's actually over $3,600 per month.

For a single Vet it is $3800 but with spouse or children adds around $200 per dependent.

I am at 90%. 80% for back issues and its secondary issues, plus 10% for tinnitus. Two claims one for Hearing loss and Diabetic issues related to Toxic Exposures that are still in HLR now going on 9 months. About to file for secondary claim for Knee issues related to Gait changes caused by a limp after Spine Fusion. Intent to file asked if I wanted to file for TDIU. From what I am hiring it is a yes or should I? I am retiring in 7 more working days. I have also filed for Aid and Attendance due to wife being 100% disabled (I am the care giver), plus Grants for home improvement.
