    Thank you Dr. On my outcome simulator I don't have the "Adjust outcome" button. Do you know if there is a reason? I am currently an Invisalign Go provider.

      Depending what version you use the features or options can be different. There is an Invisalign GO outcome simulator and an iTero Outcome Simulator. We believe in the GO version you don’t have the “adjust outcome” option. Depending where you are in the world and the type of account you have it may be different. We suggest you ask your iTero rep to see if you can have access to the iTero Outcome Simulator option. Let us know!

    U explained so well! Bravo👏🏻 in your past experience, what is the accuracy of iosim compared to the clincheck plan outcome? Are they even close? Have u ever encountered with patient’s complaint that the final outcome is not aligned with what they have seen on itero iosim during initial consultation?

    • @theCLEARinstitute
      @theCLEARinstitute  2 года назад +1

      Another good question 🙂 The iosim can be exactly the same as the ClinCheck plan... But the Clincheck plan is often different than reality. It is the representation of a force system: how the force will be applied to your teeth. There have been no issues with patients regarding the actual result compared to the simulation, but it is very important to explain to them that the iosim is a... simulation! And we, as dentists, have the responsibility to know what is possible and what is not. Because virtually, we can do almost everything. It's important during the consultation to make sure we can meet our patient's expectations and document our files with everything we said and explained. Because when it,s not written, it's not true 😉 More on this in these online courses: bit.ly/consult_scan and bit.ly/diag_txplan

    Is IPR the reshaping of the teeth to give space? When is extraction of teeth needed ?

    • @theCLEARinstitute
      @theCLEARinstitute  2 года назад

      Yes it is! Extraction can be needed if not enough space can be gain by other methods for gaining it: expansion and uprighting, distalization, molar rotation, proclination. Nowadays, most of the time, extraction will be the last option on the list. But sometimes, cases may benefit from this option.

    Bonjour!!! Super vidéo! Question ... comment garder l’espace d’une dent manquante avant la simulation?? Espace à être remplacer par implant exemple?!

    • @theCLEARinstitute
      @theCLEARinstitute  3 года назад +1

      Merci Monika! Content que ça te plaise. Nous n'avons pas trouvé de façon efficace de garder l'espace tel quel lors de la création de la simulation. Par contre, ça peut être modifié par la suite avec la fonction "adjust outcome" en bougeant les dents et en réouvrant l'espace qui était présent. La seule autre façon de le faire sinon c'est d'aller dans le "treatment outcome" et de mettre les dents de chaque côté de l'espace édenté "unmovable". Le seul hic à cette méthode c'est que ces dents ne pourront pas être bougées ou modifiées dans la simulation. Mais si elles sont déjà à la bonne place et bien positionnées, l'espace édenté sera ainsi maintenu.
