To be fair I think the TA does pretty damn well for what it is. I reckon 90% of the owners will never ride them as fast as you did over the dirt because get it wrong even once and you could end up in A&E with a bashed up bike. People who want proper off road will surely buy a lighter 300 or something purpose built. Nice review. I do own one btw, it’s great.
If you use the kill switch it won't wipe any USER settings. Using the key will though. Also, I think it only resets the ABS and traction if you turn them off, if you just lower them it won't change anything. Seems to be a legal decision more than anything, once you've done it a few times you can turn ABS and TC off about as quick as any bike tbh. I thought it'd be more annoying than it is. Great review and footage, good to see some fast riding. The tyres are OK for most conditions, but I agree most people would choose something slightly more aggressive when replacing them.
yeah we figured this out eventually just forgot to shoot some footage about it 😅. old habit is to always turn the key off. Yeah I found the electronics easy to use once I figured out all the buttons. was a bit confusing at first but this is the same with all bikes as they try and squeeze more and more onto the left hand switch block. thanks for watching!
Ear drums are all fine here..maybe just adjust the volume..it is 2024 after all..great review short and sweet and to the point very well..the bloke can obviously ride..again great review..from a happy transalp owner..
Good to see someone giving it a hounding and pushing it to limits most won't. Do you think better tyres, perhaps a set of motoz adventures on the back and motoz dual ventures on the front would improve the abs issues?
thanks! was a heap of fun! yeah definitely - I think it was the main cause of the issue. I want to do a review 2.0 and install the quickshifter, better tyres, and a pipe to make it even lighter and more responsive…. would be the ultimate bike I think as it has a lot more power than the Aprilia we tested.

@@brisbanemotorcycleslooking forward to it. Keep the videos coming.
Same here!!... Waiting on another one on this transalp... I see so much potential in this bike
Las suspensiones son las originales de Honda ? Buen video gracias, un saludo desde España.
yes this bike had standard suspension! thanks for watching!! Muchos Gracias 🙏🏼
@@brisbanemotorcycles Gracias por contestar. 😊👍
Thanks... With the volume up enough to hear you voice, your music volume was deafening however. Skip the music! It doesn't contribute anything.
hey! thanks for the feedback!! - we are still very much amateurs giving it a crack so we will try and implement this on the next one!
Yea not necessary 👍
Nice review, just wondering if you had the metzler kazoo? tyres on? I know in some places the TA comes with Bridgestones.
in Australia these bikes come with the Metzler tyres :)
The other alternative is Dunlop Trailmax tyres. Mine was delivered (in South Australia) with the Dunlops.
Slay
Holy shit, nearly blew my eardrums.. wtf?
