Welcome to episode 5 of MTGSpectacular, a UK based Magic: The Gathering gameplay series. Enjoy an authentic match between friends with the laughter, rules chat and table talk left in.
LGS's across the pond held Pride events where you could give two legendary creatures partner and, although these events were not taking place in the UK, we decided to meet up and enjoy a Rule 0 game with our chosen pairings. The politics in this game were insane!

I think I understand what the pride format is. Something that lets you use to commanders instead of one. Really, that should be a part of regular Commander in the first place. You should have the option of using two commanders without using that stupid partner mechanic. Because, if partner wasn't an issue in Commander? I would probably put the broker in as a partner commander for revenant recon. I feel as a partner commander, it would do a lot of work. Especially if the other partner was myrkle

@@unanon_user totally a rule 0 conversation you can have with players - I think the first time someone does something overly busted with it, you'll be told no and thank you though 😂. I initially made a Colonel Autumn and Alistair the Brigadier deck and it was so ridiculous I retired it before even playing it.
