Also a RUclipsr by the name amber scholl made her floor marble by putting marble contact paper 😊. All using methods for apartments/rental apartments.
hi lily, at the top of the mirror i have a nail that holds the mirror in place :-), i was worried too that it may fall, so i took some safety precautions!
It is still a safety hazard. One nail can not keep that mirror in place lol and it looks tacky. Not a look sis. Just put it on the floor with command strips on the bottom and stick it at an angle. It will not slide. Or look up different ways to place it bc those baskets are not the right way. They are made to just sit on the floor but if you're that worried about it then look up ways to place it. Not with $2 baskets..
Uggh your bedroom is so pretty! I love the color of the walls and the floorboards, it reminds me of a beach house especially with the canopy and lights. I just pulled a all nighter and repainted my room and now I'm definitely buying the canopy and lights to go with my theme!

Indeed, your room makeover looks amazing, there's just one thing I wondered about - with all the curtains around your bed, you nailed them to the wall and to the ceiling.. what will you do if they get dirty or super dusty, that it won't be possible to clean from outside with a simple cleanig tool but if they need a washing or a good shake-out?

So PVC piping hung from fishing line enables the ability to slide curtain open/closed as well as a spot to either have lights in or even wrapped around...just a couple thoughts though (if I ever find wherever my motivation went I'd def try it...for now it's one of the many visions that only live inside my head😩)

Quick tip as an interior designer: keep your room basic but classy, keep with your whites blacks and greys but mirrors are key especially big mirrors
Did you use hooks or tiny nails on the canopy ?
Elisabeth Aannegaard the canopy comes with hooks, but I used little nails because I didn’t want it to hang loose at the top!

the nails are super small and easily removable! if I feel like id need to dust it, I can just remove the netting and then put it back up when im done!

How many nails did you need for canopy
maybe around 3-4 on each side, just to make sure it was sturdy! I used very small nails
