- This Inexpensive trick made my home look awesome.This is 100% useful. I like to use it in a '' low Traffic area '' near to my closet.
An ottoman is a low upholstered seat without a back or arms that typically serves also as a box, with the seat hinged to form a lid.
Bring an authentic classy look with this velvet ottoman made with cardboard and just ordinary items.
Things used
Lot of flattened cardboard boxes 60cm diameter to reach a height of atleast 15cm.
Gorilla wood glue or any glue which stick cardboard together.
Sticky waterproof tape
upholstery velvet fabric 2meter. www.ebay.co.uk...
Foam 1" thick 60cm diameter circle
foam1" 2meter long 15cm height depends how tall the base is.
hot glue
heavy duty staple gun
Faux Crystal buttons
Upholstery lining fabric 60cm diameter
Twisted silk cord 2meter
Thread and needle

Beautiful!♥️ I suggest, due to previous experience, to put individual knots behind each 'diamond' bc if one gets snagged, cut, removed (accidentally, probably), it puts the whole 'grid' at risk for disassembly, for sure the 'diamonds' on either end of the absent 'diamond' - of course, it may be unlikely to ever happen...but I've seen the effects & the resultant necessity for repair, which can be fairly challenging. Love your stuff! Stay creative!

Actually the idea is excellent and original. Loved it. However , instead of using lining you can use old fabric curtains and make quilt cover for the sides and separate one for top. You can keep changing the covers. Your original idea will give way for many innovations. I am going to definitely try. Thanks for the amazing idea. It was so simple and the best

Я тоже сделала такой пуфик и такое зеркало. И пуфик у меня еще открывается. За зеркало я прикрепила двп. Установила на нее зеркало и уже наверх зеркало закрепила в три слоя кордон оббитую велюром. А синтепон можно вытащит из старых ненужных игрушек. Получилось супер!!!!

I have made similar projects.I found that rather than cutting the foam to fit the side and the top I upholstered the entire thing with foam as if the foam was fabric then covered the fabric over that you just have to put tight staple it down then go back/bottom and trim neatly and secure with more staples where it needs them .It looks better and lasts longer because there are no seems''

Trymaking a shape from chiken wire then applying layer after layer of papier mache, its as hard as concrete yet flexible and you can make any shape. Upholster that and it'll look like something out of a disney film!
