When I grow up I want to be a interior designer, I've always loved decorating rooms specifically, and I am obsessed with watching videos of rooms getting redone.
You should have painted the room first a good color of your choice and an accent wall to enliven the white furniture. I see you like pink. You can paint with a shade of lilac if you like, that will make the white furniture pop and make your wall pictures look even better. Peace and Love✌💗
You got help from the whole family 🤗 I have the same bed from Ikea. My husband and I mount it without problems.I recommended it to a friend and he had a hard time mounting it too he had zero patience( he wanted to use a drill 🤣🤣🤣)
Some people are rude, I saw someone saying her bedroom looks like everyone on RUclips and it’s boring and lacks creativity...mmm that’s why it’s a bedroom it will have a bed, dressers, mirrors and decorations. She didn’t do gray and silver like a lot of people but still some insist on mean hearted comments. Thanks for share your beautiful room.

I like how it’s less cluttered... usually when I de-clutter I feel like I can finally breathe. Such a relief.

I love this so so much everyone paints their rooms white or grey which is so tiring and basic with just white and grey furniture and decorations I love you kept the color of your room it’s so cute and the burgundy accent pillows and the pink blanket like there’s a color scheme of beige burgundy’s white silver gold and it all comes together so so nice this was so refreshing :)
I think it'll look more amazing with grey curtains and it'll match your silver mirror as well. :)

That room transformation was so satisfying, please do a room tour. Good idea for you maybe go for a nice light grey for your curtains. I have a white room also and I have a hint of grey throughout- your mirror has a little bit of grey so you could tie that in with your curtains 😘😘😘

I really like your old furniture and even though it’s June already and it’s probably sold, I’ll try looking on Craigslist for it. I grew up with wooden furniture as well, but I came to like the look of it. Your new room looks amazing btw.
You forgot to use a mattress cover. I also recommend a pillow case cover then the pillow case. Your room is beautiful.

i wish i was able to redo my room. my parents refuse to let me because they don’t want me to get rid of my desk so i can fit a full size bed inside (i have a twin and i don’t fit on it at all) they won’t even let me get new sheets and artwork and they said if i want to redo my color scheme my mom has to do it since i’ll “mess it up” and nothing will go together. last time she redid my color scheme i was in 5th grade and she used bright pink (aka my LEAST favorite color, always has been) and decorated it like i was three years old. i absolutely hate my room with a passion 😂
(If you are old enough) you could babysit other kids ask your mom but be nice about when you do then you could make money for your room
