I like the idea of having a comparison between the Zeiss photo X fusion lenses versus extra active next generation models extra dark

I like your suggestion. Until then, here is a link to a comparison between Zeiss Photofusion blue and Essilor's Transitions blue:

    Very informative video.
1 question - Does the extra grey have a slight tint when indoors (when not exposed to any uv rays) ?

Photochromic lenses have a 3 to 5% hue indoors, the extra dark gray is 5 to 7%. And there is no politically correct way to say this but unless you are albino no one will see it on you, nor will you see it looking out.

Nice video, btw i have a question, can we drive a car at night while wearing essilor xtractive or xtractive style mirror? Good luck to your channel 🙏🏻

Oh yes, they will be clear behind the windshield at night. Only the sun can make them turn dark and they will still only get 50% behind a windshield on the brightest of days.

Hi from Spain, excuse my question, I know what photochromic lenses are (I own transitions gen 7) but, what do you mean when you say "they get dark on day one, and continue to darken every day the first 2 weeks and after that they will work at full performance" ? thanks in advance

We say 2 weeks just to be safe. It depends on the amount of UV light and the temperature. Many variables.. but they do start performing better after a few days. We thank you for your comment and question. We do ship to Spain!
