I have an idea: he shouldn't wear Majora's Mask most of the time, just for the final Smash, the aerial attack and the boomerang attack. He could wear the skull mask of OoT for normal smash. But for most attacks the face isn't covered by any masks, just his eyes and the beak.
I think the up smash could be him releasing a bunch of energy around him. Other fighters like ganondorf and Ike have an up smash that hits up and slightly on both sides. So it could be similar to one of his abilities in hyrule warriors. I really hope skull kid gets in some how though.
Awesome moveset and really well edited video! You deserve more likes. The only thing is, maybe his up Smash can be the scream he does to call down the moon, kind of a big aura attack that surrounds him like Lucas' up Smash
imagine how cool it would be if the skull kids mechanic was to actually go in and out of others minds, like starting off at the kid, getting out of it and using its pure forms with a new moveset, and then having the ability to host other fighters to go back to the kids moveset. That would be amazing to me
I also wish skullkid/majora would be in smash too and I know you said the thing about the name and how he’d have to call it skullkid/tatl/tael/majora but don’t forget in the hyrule warriors he is just called skull kid

I 100% disagree with the theory that the skull kid from MM is the same skull kid from TP because one, the skull kid looks radically different in both games. In TP he has hylian like ears, a different skin color, a different instrument, a toothy grin instead and of a beak and tattoos of gears on his face.
I actually addressed this in the video. His skin color, toothy grin, and yellowy eyes are very reminiscent of the Moon, so it could imply some adverse side-effects from prolonged exposure to Majora's mask. Also, in Zelda, gears often symbolize time, and the tattoos could represent all the three-day cycles he lived through. As for the instrument, I dunno. It seems like a Deku pipe, which is from MM. Never noticed the ears though, maybe they were just obscured beneath the big straw hat. But hey, it's just a theory - UH GAME THEEREE.
NintenDopeman Sorry let me clarify what I meant, you can see his face at the end of Majora’s Mask and you can see his face and it looks normal, unless you meant that his face started to change after he took the mask off, then I can see how he wood look different( hehe ). Also you can clearly see into his hat at the end of Majora’s Mask and no ears to be found. And it is more likely that Saria’s song became a folk song among the skull kid race.

His up special while he is in mid air should be his mask ripping off him making you move the mask around while skull kid sits there. A lot like ness's up special move.

I'm 100% sure that Sonic. Exe won't be in Smash: it doesn't fit the game, because Smash is a game of fighters, and the creepypastas aren't really welcome in that territory
Why not "Skull Kid Makes an Impact"? I'd actually be fine if he got in as an echo of Sheik, just making his animations seem really jerky and puppet like to contrast with Sheik's grace. You basically gave him Sheik's neutral and up special actually
