IMPORTANT: DE removed the two options at the start of the game but dont stress it doesnt really make a difference because as you complete vors prize you will have access to the duviri questline. So there isnt really a difference!

Difficult not knowing what to. Video like this was not a thing since it was a game that was barely known. Hope this will help a lot of newer Tenno truw the start of our beloved universe
I'm 40hrs into the game and it's grindy basically just grind something to build something that you would use to grind something😆 but it's fun though. What I like is it's grindy but you can play at your own pace. Sometimes long hours sometimes not really like me who plays for like 4hrs a day
found = found out it exists: a friend plays it and really likes it. i wanted to surprise him so i started at without telling him to see if i like it. really fun first impression so i told him i started and we play together since
found = opinionwise, i really loved the movement and abilitys of the frames and how different they are, but some stuff was quite difficult and without my friend guiding me i wouldve stopped rather fast and ragequit ngl

My genuine advice don't even start it i got sick of it back in 2018 when every good melee biuld that ponit got nerfed to shit i coem back liek a week ago they got made ti even shłttier to have a chance for a good builéd you need helmnith rare mods from steel path arcanes and specific wepaons to be good even on the normal star chart where sorie missions exist or higher elvel survival...where eximus enemies flood the map.... completely disgusting...

It is worth noting that the Duviri path at the start will land you at the Tenno path after about 3-5 hours of gameplay. I recommend picking Duviri because that gives you access to the Circuit very early on, which allows you to get new warframes, mods, arcanes, and other loot pretty easily once per week. It’s also one of the fastest and most consistent ways to get new warframes for new players.
The way I got frames as a beginner was selling mods and relics on the wf market until I had enough plat to buy some cheap prime frames, like titania prime, octavia prime, ivara prime, etc... and I am having good fun on them.

yes Duviri is amazing for new players especially the main story area as they get to literally try out everything each visit; Circuit is only good if they run the Duviri Experience a couple of times to know what to do on e the Circuit gives them so much stuff. Like me on an alt just running Circuit is natural since my main account is MR30 with every non-Founder Warframe mastered and modded but I wouldn't recommend just Circuit to say Newbie101 who only started today

@@borderlandsplayer5003they changed it so now there's no option to do duviri as the intro quest now. You can still do it after vors prize though iirc

As a RuneScape player coming to Warframe for the first time and hearing it’s grindy, market based, wiki filled, and free to win; I accept your challenge. Rhino’s crafting on day 2, mastery 5, and jupitor’s ALMOST unlocked. I can’t wait
another important thing about this game compared to others is you are never missing any content, some times you just have to wait bc some things are rotational (or a special event) so you have to wait a bit for them come back (some stuff weeks, some stuff months and a very few stuff yearly-ish) and be available for you to get it unlike other games where you basically lose everything you grinded after a major update. here you get to keep everything forever (warframe, weapons, cosmetics, achivements, ranks, etc), they might lose power over time and even become useless but thats just how the game is, it's always evolving and changing

As a "two month in" new player, this is a pretty good intro. I subscribed and plan to follow the series, I'm sure I'll learn stuff!

I’m really glad you made this video. I’ve been wanting to get into this game for years and knowing where to start on a game that’s 10+ years into its life span is definitely difficult. This pretty much summed everything up g up nicely and I’ll finally be jumping in today!
I picked up Warframe last week, I absolutely love it so far but as a solo player it can be a little daunting.
Every random I've played with has been super helpful and friendly though, it has a great community.
You can play the game solo - that’s what I do.

A lot of dying and panic mod hunting to survive, pretty nostalgic as its been so long since the change as I picked Loki as my starter, but i absolutely love him.
There absolutely is FOMO in this game in terms of time limited events or special events. Baro only shows up 4 days every month, ghoul and thermia events only show up a couple times a month, etc. It always comes back, but for some specific things you may have to wait 2 YEARS to obtain it when it shows up in baro's inventory. But 98% of the game has no fear of missing out.
That's the only correction to this video.
Totally true, this game has a few fomo aspects. Some people might consider the weekly and nightwave stuff fomo aswell.

yeah, FOMO is real in this game, but still. most of the stuff u "miss" u can buy for plats from other palyers.. and plat in this game is so easy to obtain.

I started Warframe in 2016, and the fact you can choose the Duviri path first now if you like is crazy! Young Tenno, RUclips is your best friend with this game, good luck and have fun.

I'm new to Warframe but I've played similar games, but in my opinion the last 2 parts should be one of the first parts of the video. Many people don't pay a lot of attention to the community and don't search stuff (in this case the wiki). I do believe that the wiki will come in handy.
I came back to the game yesterday and I'm really enjoying the game and one thing I like about the game is they give reminders if you play for a while to take a break and it's really fun to grind

The massive noob barrier for me, is the limits on weapon/warframe slots. I can only have so many of things crafted at a time, meaning around mastery rank 4 or 5 I hit a very fast wall. Recently someone explained Forma to me which is great for mastery rank, but I want to try out as much as I can rather than feel stuck with certain loadouts. Wish more slots were given as base, or at least much easier to obtain a few early on
Edit: Even worse, I found out Forma DOESNT give you mastery rank on reset. RIP my wasted time.
Formaing a weapon and leveling it up again doesn't give you any Mastery Rank, it's just to fit more mods on. Source: Wiki

A bit of advice, avoid region chat like the plague that it is. lol Seriously, they throw out perma bans like candy for things said in there. So stay away and enjoy the rest of the game outside of that short bus special ed section of the game.

Solo so far. Just taking my time, enjoying the land and the LORE. Both are regularly surprising and often breath-taking. It can really get quite epic. Sprinkle in some good cannabis and it becomes truly magical.

tip for starters as well:
GET Volt, because opening vault you need to be part of a doji ( i dont know if that changed now) getting excelibur and Mag is easy because you can farm for the parts early in game as well. Why you want to do this?
when you get all three starter frames, you can play with each one, to see which one more comfortable with you.

Thankfully the Duviri Paradox is now playable once you reach a certain level. As a guy who just donwloaded warframe two weeks ago (two weeks may seem like a lot but i only actually get to play for a few days in a week cuz business and stuff), I'm grateful im not pulled by two options because you automatically start the Tenno path when you start playing the game

Just started playing with a buddy and we're pretty hooked. This was a really nice and quick rundown. Appreciate it :D just a random question though; when you equip a mod that has, say, +10 percent heat; does that mean my weapon now does 10 percent heat damage? Or does a weapon already have to have a "heat" property to it for that to add to said property? Thanks again for the video!
Your weapon will do 10% damage it's an element, If you can use status chance and status effect effectively then it is very game changing activists make game got a mean it's like I can kill a flour with like one abilities
Honestly, the best way to understand this is to look up a video about it. The wiki explains it well too, but is a bit heavy with information and numbers and stuff.
The way I think about it is like this
Say a weapon has 100 base damage. This damage is spread out into 60 Puncture and 40 Slash, for a total of 100. Add a +Heat mod to it, you will gain that % of Heat damage on top of that 100, for example total 110 in this case.
Heat is an element. Think of it as fire (logically). There's two parts to every element; the damage and the status effect. The damage is what you'll see in the modding menu. It's the numbers that go up, increasing the damage you do. Status effects however, are dependent on the Status Chance. Whenever you hit an enemy, every bullet has that percentage chance of putting one of the elements currently on your weapon onto the enemy. Heat, for example, will burn health away and lower the defense of enemies.
Elements can combine into other elements, get extra damage against different types of enemies, and... yeah, a lot more.
Like Flo recommended, I wouldn't bother too much with modding and understanding damage for now. Get a grip of the game, get used to movement, have fun playing with your friend and enjoy the experience. The auto mod installer (in the Action button of the modding menu) can give you decent builds that will get you across most of the star chart :D

Been playing since launch on Xbox and I can say my biggest gripe is the existence of Mr you already have to grind your face off in every other aspect of the game can we all just collectively get rid of it would make it much more enjoyable for haveing second accounts
