At the moment I'm tossing up between the E501L and the Deepcool E-Shield for my build.

The main reason I got one of these was due to the ROM bay
If you don't need a ROM bay I would go the esheild

Can we have a closer look at the inside of the front panel? I'm concerned about the mesh inside the panel. Would be interesting to see that and also see if it can be removed somehow. That would mean less filtration but lower noise. And as I am more concerned about the noise, I'd toss the inside mesh if that's possible.

do you think there's no need to install a filter for the front intake? Is the perforated front enough to filter dust?

It would depend if it was on the floor or a desk
As with most computer I would recommend to do a yearly dust blow out and wouldn't be too fussed that it doesn't have a dust filter
