This is honestly mind-blowing to watch. I'm 18 years old and I use to play this game all the time when I was 6. I literally haven't thought of it for years but when I watched the first few levels man it hit me for 6. The movements the characters make, the attacks, the double jumps, the sound effects, the constantly playing music, the visuals. Everything. It's been put to the back of my mind for years and watching this it was all revealed again. You haven't just made me remember this game, you have actually rediscovered all of the emotional triggers I had when playing this game for me. Like the angst of not being able to jump to a platform, or the confusion of not knowing what to do, or the excitement of reaching a certain boss. This is actually crazy watching this I have suddenly remembered loads of little fragments of levels like certain rooms and certain cutscenes. Thank you very much for this, sir. you have made me feel like a 6 year old again, and I mean that in a good way.

Always loved that about the old Lego games where nobody ever talked it was just funny expressions or a quick cutscene.
Now a days I feel most games run on cutscenes and extra material to add on time to their game.

You can tell who played the original Lego Star Wars and who didn't by asking what Lego Yoda's walking animation is. Floaty chair will always be better.

I miss the diner so much, best Lego game ever, had an amazing hub world, best story line, unlike 2 this one had missions that didn’t feel time consuming, and were everyone’s favorite movies

One of the first games I ever played and I absolutely loved it. I remember getting it before I got my memory card for my PlayStation 2 I must of completed that negotiations level a hundred times. Personally I think the prequels levels are better than the original trilogy ones in the complete saga.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be releasing on Tuesday and I decided to watch gameplays of past Lego Star Wars as a little countdown to the games release. I would also like to share my thoughts on this game, I never really grew up with Legos that much as a kid (except for Bionicle) so Lego Games were the closest thing to playing Legos but this game right here, not only was it the first Lego game I've played but it also introduced me to Star Wars itself. I enjoyed (mostly) every moment of this game and managed to get True Jedi status on every level (which unlocks a bonus level based on the opening of A New Hope) I also remember when you go outside of the parking lot of Dexter's Diner the characters would start killing eachother and such. Despite being an awesome game it also had some bad qualities like some of levels being either tedious/frustrating such as Mos Espa Podrace, Defense of Kashyyyk and Darth Vader or finding every Minikit in the game (this was back when I was 8 years old back in 2005 and also before I knew how to use a computer... or the Internet) but despite all that this game will always have a place in my heart for being my first Lego game and for introducing me to Star Wars, heck after I beat this game I started watching the movies... In chronological order of course.
