    I followed your technique from these videos and detangling is alot easier now. I lost way less hair too. Thanks again! Your clients are blessed to have you and Henny. 🤗

    My hair is low-med density and I use grease on my hair. I used my d38 for the first time today detailing was a breeze! I redid my four flat twists (two on each side) and I am good!

    Can you do detangling on fine low density strands? It seems as if it will be easier however I'm sure you have something or some technique that you can share for this kind of texture. Thanks so much!

    Thank you for this...again¡ I just did my wash day yesterday and it was the best. Detangling...smoothing the hair down by finger-hand smoothing. I just purchased the D38...revolutionized my wash day... less shedding. Minimum shedding and much more manageable hair!! 🎉🎉🎉

    I remember in one video, you held the ends of hairs and lightly pushed the hair up of from a part of strands to see how much needs to be cut I believe .
    Can you explain that more?

      @@AfrikanHairGod I hope you don't think I was being critical. Far from it. Every time I've heard the word used growing up, it has been said as an insult (about my hair ). I really wanted to know your thoughts. Her hair was beautiful, so obviously you were not using the term in a bad way. Thank you.

      @@Naturalnlvnit I took no offense I just wanted to know if you knew what it meant. It's a technical classification of the thickness of a singular hair strand. What this video for more clarification

    In this video I see that you are mainly using your thumbs to finger detangle the hair. Should I be using mainly my thumbs or all of my fingers to detangle?

    Thanks for this video. It's vey helpful. I noticed that you brush using the top of the brush. I brush using the side. Is there a difference??

    • @AfrikanHairGod
      @AfrikanHairGod  2 года назад +4

      I've talked about this in my video on detangling turning your tool vertically allows for better ease in separating and detangling and puts less stress and resistance when smoothing hair. Try it out and see the difference

      @@AfrikanHairGod Thank you so much! I just watched the video. I will be using your advice and techniques to detangle.
      I've been using the Tangle Teaser and now I see that it may not be the right brush to detangle my hair. My hair is very dense but I think it may be pulling out too much hair. I will invest in a paddle brush and see how it works. I always thought those brushes were for straighter hair types.

    YES! Me and my son have this type of thick hair. My son’s is thicker and when pp hear I do his hair, they look and talk crazy, for example: oh when u going to cut it, thats a lot. I want to smack them so bad, CAUSE ITS NOT THAT DAMN CRUEL. You are just too lazy when it comes to our hair, take the time to learn, just admit it, 😑. Anyways, I use this brush u recommend, I am going to retry this method, soon.
