Sir I have 64 mm 12 blades EDF 3500 kV can its thrust is enough to fly jet with complete parts total weight 1kg I have 3s lipo battery can jet fly well
Hello. I own a Carbon Cub S (version 2) without the GPS and I have flown it a few times. I was thinking of a second airplane to introduce myself in the 4S and NX8 transmitter world. As you can imagine I am not an expert flying RX planes, on the contrary I am a newbie on this. Would you recommend the EC-1500 as a second plane or would you provide another type of advice? Thanks a lot for the help.
If you’re proficient with the carbon cub s I think you’ll do fine with the ec1500. I’d recommend maybe having a club mate help out on the first flight or two just in case. It’s a fun airplane and the drop door is pretty fun.
i put oversized soft tires so it does not sound like it has rocks for wheels.....used large flaps...funfunfun...meters...smethers....speak SAE....this is the United States...
Learning to fly rc takes practice, but is a fun and rewarding hobby. I’d recommend seeking out a local rc club near you and reaching out to them. They usually have club trainers and instructors who can give you an introduction to it all and help you get start on the right foot.
Love your videos and appreciate the work you do to make your downloads available. I have just added this model to my hangar and I have to say it is a beauty just the way it comes out of the box and I am anxious to get it out for it's maiden however I do have to take issue with the manual. Sadly this has become the norm for all model manuals, there's way too much critical info missing for example I only know the elevator servo is inside the tail because you said so in the video and looking inside the fuselage with the cargo hatch open I can see servo leads in the overhead but where the heck is it and what happens if it fails? Any thoughts on this? Thanks
That is a good question. I’ve not actually tried to locate that servo come think of it. I’m not sure where the access is. Is it at the base of the dorsal?
@@Thercgeek Thanks for the reply. I have located the servo I believe. There is a plastic access cover (same as on the nacelles) just forward of the Vert Stabilizer. I did not see it when I mounted the Vert Stab but under the front is a control rod running back and connecting to the elevator control tabs and at the front a servo control horn is partially visible.
@@Thercgeek No idea! He just said it was too big and was taking up too much space. Haha. It's my 2nd EC-1500. The first one never came out of the box before I sold it and I'd been regretting it ever since.
Cool plane. I noticed it said Mansfield on the tail. I see c130 planes fly around us out of Mansfield Lahm Airport in Ohio all the time. This rc reminds me of those.
I finally found a guy selling one of these. I drove a LONG way to pick it up. I am hoping for the best. Anyway, how in the world did you pull off such a gorgeous paint job and find all the decals, window panels etc? Your planes looks beautiful - I am so jealous! Awesome job.
Are those props as quiet as they seemed to sound in the video? Sounded like that at ~ 40% throttle and 390' you couldn't hear it in the middle of the desert? Love the AF paint scheme.
I’m not certain. Simplest thing is to use a ruler. You can also make marks on a post it not and use that also by sticking it where you need on the airplane to take measurements.
Great Video Brother! I LOVE ❤️ MINE Also! Like your paint Scheme better than mine! 🤟🤟🤘

Unfortunately, I don’t have a good sense of the 64mm fans, so it’s hard for me to say. If you can run 4s, you’ll probably be better off.
Mehmood khan that 3500kv is for 4s set up i believe is from freewing 64mm f22 on 4s version.almost same kv on fms f15 64mm running on 4s.
Wish it was still available
I hear you. It was a fun airplane
@@Thercgeek looked like it. So badly wanted to do verticals and drop stuff.

Bonjour quelle type de peinture faut t il utilise pour les avion en epo sinon bonne vidéo merci
EPO foam is extremely resilient to solvents, so you can use most any type of paint medium on it.
Merci pour votre réponse
Hey bro thanks for sharing this beautiful plane it’s been a year would you sell it to me you had your fun 🤩 lol
If I still had it… 😬. We moved and so it ended up with a friend of mine.
Yayyyyy
Woohoo!! 😁
The RC Geek I love that paint scheme you put on it 😎
And sign it for me
I would love to add this one to my hangar, but I won't be buying any more Horizon planes until they resolve their abysmal UK customer service.
I got new fuselage for my coastguard plane but one half of the plane works
I just got one from a hobby store. I have a 3300mAh 4s 80c. Will that work in this model?
Yeah, it should work just fine. Just ensure cg is in the right place.

Yeah, the wheels, haha!
What flight time are you getting with that size 4S? I just bought my own BNF EC1500!!
I fly for over 5 minutes and have lots of charge to spare.
This is my next plane for sure.expect asking question from me😉.thanks for sharing this informative video.😎😎😎more power to you channel😀😀
Thanks! Enjoy the ec1500! 😊
Great vid!!! Will this work with the Spektrum DXS transmitter? Thx
Thanks! Looks like the dxs is a 7 channel system, so it should work as far as I know.
Ive always wanted to get into Rc Airplanes. Are they easy to fly?

Mine is in process as a modern Coast Guard C-27J thanks to Callie Graphics! .
Love the way it flies!.
Mine is in my “USAF THUNDERBIRDS “ rendition from Callie Graphics as well. I Do like Chris Rendition better tho. Lol
Awesome!
I just recently adopted this model from John. :D She looks even better in person. Haven't flown her yet but damnit she's pretty!
Oh, lucky you! Did he ever fly it?

Who ever is that tank is going to need a new set of underwear!!!!!
Haha, right?!
Love that you used the Mansfield scheme - I used to see this guy flying over I-71 everytime I went from Cleveland to Columbus.
That’s really cool!
First
Yasss! 😎
The sound from those props is awesome!
Almost sounds like an EDF. Hmmm
Love your rendition of this plane I really love the Scale Tail spin lol
Haha, thanks! This thing is such a fun airplane. I never thought I’d enjoy it as much as I do.
Robert Ortlepp the Full Scale Does an AWESOME INVERTED PASS, even with a Full load of Cargo, Just like THE RC GEEK Flies!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That last landing was sweet.........
Thanks!
Where to get one
These were just re-released by horizon! bit.ly/Efl1500

Cool! The C-27 this was modeled after operated out of there too.
Ok, I'm getting one, now just add a sound kit and should be good and landing gear up and down👍
Sound system would be fun!
It is begging for softer tires and/or some kind of suspension. Fantastic job recreating the Spartan. Where did you get the graphics, windows etc.?
Thanks! Agreed on the tires, haha! The markings I made myself, the window graphics came from Callie-graphics.
@@Thercgeek Fantastic, thanks

Chris, do you by chance have a video or anything available that could help a klutz like me replicate you paint scheme? Thanks!
Sorry! Nevermind, I found you have a video already. Happy flying
Glad you found it! I made my own decals for it and used Callie graphics for the windows.
Great video Chris! Where did you find the accuthrow to set up the surfaces? I cannot find one. Love the paint job!
Thanks! I’ve had that accuthrow meter for ages actually. It’s been pretty handy.
The RC Geek I shall make one. Thanks👍

Yeah, they are really that quiet. You can’t really hear it at all with other birds in the air at the same time.
@@Thercgeek Thank you!
Great plane love the color , what receiver did you use
This was the bnf, so it’s the receiver that’s included.
I thought i saw a Millennial Falcon....
Yup! My son and I have been working on the big Bandai falcon.
Thanks for the setup info, I'm just setting up mine now. Is a 3 cell battery a bad idea?
I think it’ll fly ok. It’s a lot more fun on 4s. 😁
@@Thercgeek Thanks again for your help, have a Merry Christmas!
Happy to help! Merry Christmas to you as well!
What's that tool called that you're using to make the measurements on the control surfaces? Can you provide a link on where to buy it?
It’s called an accuthrow meter and unfortunately, it’s no longer made. 😕
@@Thercgeek
Is there another alternative for getting the measurements on the throws?
I’m not certain. Simplest thing is to use a ruler. You can also make marks on a post it not and use that also by sticking it where you need on the airplane to take measurements.
