We have to be clear that victorious energy’s effectiveness is reduced when you turn it into a party buff. It only gives around 110 of hit/eva to the team instead of the original 400 to yourself.
The main reason to use Fire Wave is not the dmg but the upkeep on Burn stacks to deal much more dmg with your lighnting spells. It fits perfectly in between Fire Bombs
@@AndreyPLK I've actually been using your PvE skills with Inferno Wave for the burn stacks but keeping Touch of Despair with Vampiric Contract instead of Ice Spear Bombardment so I can keep small heals up in between cooldowns! Not sure if its easy to keep friendlies targetted on kb/m but on controller it really helps
ive never really used fire wave, using it to keep the burn stacks i feel is a waste of a skill slot. The burn lasts bout 10 seconds and refreshes everytime its applied. The fireball should cooldown faster than the effect so keeping max stacks is essentially a guarentee, i use the ice skill that teleports when u use it with the burn, it still applies the movement debuff but also does fire dot damage and applies burn and the teleport is great to put distance between you and the enemy or getting out of aoe damage areas fast and you get 2 casts from it. Its quite a long cooldown but get cd reduction from gear, wisdom stat and staff/wand mastery will reduce this. This skill is also great for some boss mechanics like shaikal for instance. If you have high level vampire passive skill, good magic defence with endurance/evasion (which ever you choose) and a high enough fountain of life and both protection spells you can passive heal yourself from the damage you do and increased buff duration on your protection spells duration you could outheal his damage and when he does his breath attack you just use the frost skill to teleport through the walls, no need to open them, so if your tank dies you could take his role and solo the mechanic. I have tried doin it, i had all my skills purple lvl 1-2 but with almost no traits and only 900 magic defence i burned through mana too quick, and since buff duration and cd reduction is almost all from traits the cd was too long and the duration was too short i though. Tho having said that, with a few more lvls into vamp passive skill, better cd and duration for protection spells/fountain of life as well as actually having traits (unlike me) i think the wand/staff hybrid could solo that boss with ease, might take a while but it defo can be done. Just gotta try make sure you keep aggro and the rest of your team will have nothing to worry bout.

I have another build. I focus for Wand. I use lot of DOTS spell and that damaged is absolutly fantastic. I like your videos but i dont much prefer staff spells .
@@caluache Fairly certain you only get the specialization stats of the weapon you have out so thats why he only showed the wand. He's always using wand.
