Davies' Got Talent! 2024 - Y2k Edition

Welcome to Davies' Got Talent 2024 Y2K Edition, held on May 3, 2024, at Davies Career and Technical High School, brought to you by the dedicated efforts of the Parent-Educators Relations Committee (PERC).
Co-Directed by the dynamic duo, Jax Adele Ventura, PERC Chairperson, and Lyle Nesse, Music Club Advisor, alongside Assistant Director Miley Lopes, Sound Director Mario Garcia, and Sound Engineer Clinton Degnan, this event was a spectacle like no other.
ACT 1:
Prepare to be dazzled as Davies’ Music Club takes the stage with a riveting medley featuring hits like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes, "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz, and "Cloud 9" by Beach Bunny. Featuring talented singers including Adrianny Jimenez, Lucia Betancur, Reign Monteiro, and more, accompanied by a stellar lineup of musicians.
Emotions soar as Emilio-John Flores delivers a soulful rendition of “Heaven” by Kane Brown, followed by Davies’ Music Club seniors Brianna Garcia, Steven Arevalo, and Sandra Louis enchanting the audience with “Sway” by Norman Gimbel, Pablo Beltran Ruiz, and Luis Demetrio Tracon Molina.
The stage comes alive with Adaijah Diaz's heartfelt performance of “Wondering” by Julia Lester and Olivia Rodrigo, Alexander Boudreau's captivating rendition of “The World’s Smallest Violin” by AJR, and Kenzie Clement's mesmerizing guitar performance of “The Ballad of Lucy Gray Baird” by Rachel Zegler. Lucia Betancur transports us to Mexico with her enchanting folkloric dance.
INTERMISSION:
Former SkillsUSA State President Lyla Flodin and SkillsUSA Chapter President Haadiyah Folarin take the stage, setting the tone for an electrifying second act.
ACT 2:
The excitement continues with Davies’ Music Club’s rendition of "All I Wanted" by Paramore, followed by Alexis Romero Alvarado's rendition of “Long Way Home” by 5 Seconds of Summer and Yiadalis Cardec's soulful performance of “I’m Not The Only One” by Sam Smith.
Javon Jesus captivates with “Location” by Khalid, while Steven Arevalo showcases his vocal prowess and piano skills with “Enamorado” by Rabito. Elizabeth Piedra moves hearts with “No Me Queda Más” by Xavi, and Rachel Jean-Baptiste closes the show with a powerful rendition of “Runnin’” by Beyonce.
Backstage Stage Crew Team:
Behind the scenes, the talented Backstage Stage Crew Team ensures a seamless production, led by Stage Manager Niko Saunders and Assistant Stage Manager Alex Gomes Pires, with support from Lighting Director Rin Pollino and the rest of the dedicated crew.
