MotoGeo your videos just keep impressing me, definitely one of the best moto channels out there! I am taking an industrial design degree towards car design, but I honestly wish I could just work for you guys on your bike designs and go on these adventures! Awesome video
I can tell you had to tame your wild machine a bit by putting the stock exhaust back on it. The open pipes like you had before would make me go crazy after a while, and stealthy quiet bikes are fun to rip around on without making too much of a disturbance and you get to keep your hearing. :) Awesome video man.
I don't see "only downsides" :) It is still a capable road bike that can handle highway riding like no other dual sport, it can tackle the rough, and for those long distance adventures this honestly seem like the perfect bike for it. Plus it looks/sounds damn awesome! I want one :D
So true! Great video Jamie. I like how it gives a strong hint to those that let the myth that they need a bran new bike that is designed exactly for where they are going stop them form exploring and being adventurous... so not true:)
THIS is exactly why I love to ride. Riding street and trail all day finishing with some food, a night cap and a fire and listening to tunes. Awesome. But what did the film crew (one guy) do?
I must be getting younger. I liked the music for once. LOL. I love that CBR Dionysus. First look at it, I thought it was a bit buzzy, but it goes so well. Love the way you've mounted a fuel cell. Is that on to a Kriega base? Great video. I've been watching stacks of these old ones I missed first time round.
I'd love ur life. Lol. Yea I seen ur Daytona salt flats video with this bike but would like a better look round the 600rr and how it came to be? Epic video as always.
Hey Jamie! Great work to the fellas at Motogeo. Just wondering, what tires are you running on your Dionysus build or for adventures like this? I'm setting up my Triumph Street Triple, and looking to see what tires I can run that'll take me to any camp site, with confidence both on road and off! Thanks for your help and keep up the good work!
Man, you make offroading on any motorcycle look easy!!! How do you find not having a front fender on that bike? it looks totally awesome however I'm not sure if i'll get soaked in spray if the ground gets a little wet.
That’s so cool. I’d love to see a picture of that bike’s cockpit to see how you have the speedo and tach mounted with that on. Man, even a full walk around video of that bike would be epic. Either way I’m inspired to make something interesting out of an old CBR900rr that I’ve got kicking around so I can ride highway and the odd gravel and dirt road. Up here in northern B.C. there’s so many places my big ol bagger just won’t take me.
I would put the extra fuel tanks on the back luggage rack and load the two saddlebags equally for better balance. This would have been great if you would have filmed the two days or so you were on the road on this trip. Need more content, these are just to short. Even to the point of 25-30 minutes and do more parts if you can't get it all filmed. Come on you start off great and give us a taste and then leave us hangen~!~
The sport bike Trail Conversion really makes sense to me. They are at least 80- 120lbs lighter than average Adventure Bike and with a proper suspension set up perhaps make a better trail bike than the rest of them.
You look at this, and you just say "I gotta camp. Screw everything here, I gotta camp right NOW". Too bad Italy is not as "open minded" about camping as America seems to be. Tell me Jamie, your bike is basically a supersport that you modified to become a... a naked? A scrambler? I saw the chiseled tires. How good is your bike for outdoor? Did it become faster or slower, with the modifications? Is it comfortable like a naked, or "lumbar sacrificed" like a supersport?
Great video... you always use the same offroad tire... Im looking for the same model but not find it... can you tell me the brand tire and model? Thank.. Never stop to make this king of videos...
If you never enjoy a dirt lunch even when riding a sport bike on trails, you are a god among riders! Do you ever crash? Or do you just have that footage edited out?
Came back to this video and saw my comment from six years ago. My supermoto was 125cc :) I have 2011 CBR600RR now and I race it pretty much on every weekend. Amazing how motorcycle life progresses. After 125cc I got an SV650 and thought that it was the fastest thing ever made haha. If I ever crash out on my CBR (god forbid) I will turn it into the mad max bike just like yours. Cheers.
Definitely... the best... when camping trip.
Keep on enjoying life on two wheels
Best regards
Medel
I like to take a few pre rolls and enjoy the serenity of the wilderness and look at the night sky after a day of riding. Love it.
Attaboy Jamie! Way to prove you can have an adventure with what ever bike you have.
Nothing better then a Solo Adventure Jamie!
Thanks for some of the ideas, this is where my VFR is going build wise was cool to see something like it make it to MotoGeo, thanks Jamie
superb ,mad max style
The "boot leg flask". What a Kentucky touch of class.
Yep I defiantly spend to much time at work. With very little "me" time. This vids got me thinkin' thx Jamie!!
+Scott F Great, now get on a motorbike and go for a ride! :)
This is what it's all about. Great!
Seriously im in love with that bike. I think the video is too short, WE NEED MOREEEEEEEE!!!!
Jamie...YOUR THE MAN!!
MotoGeo your videos just keep impressing me, definitely one of the best moto channels out there! I am taking an industrial design degree towards car design, but I honestly wish I could just work for you guys on your bike designs and go on these adventures! Awesome video
More adventure outta that bike than most adventure riders!
Great vid. A trip like this is missing from my life. Thanks for the inspiration once again.
This...I freaking love this.

Wow, thank you!
Great vid. Really gets my biking juices flowing. Thanks for the effort
Video stupendo! Gran bel montaggio complimenti!:)
Looks like such a fun ride!
Its about time! I've been dying for a Dionysus solo video
Definitely want to try this 👍🇺🇸
Short and awesome! Great video.
Love all your videos and always look forward to the next!
Why such a short vid???????
Would love to see a new 20min adventure aid you! ;)
Exquisite video though!
that is so cool :) Personally I'd be more interested in building one of these over a track bike and I'd love to know more about that 600RR
The question is "why would you?" There is no advantage, only downsides.
I don't see "only downsides" :) It is still a capable road bike that can handle highway riding like no other dual sport, it can tackle the rough, and for those long distance adventures this honestly seem like the perfect bike for it. Plus it looks/sounds damn awesome! I want one :D
One video on build of this beautiful machine and bike build for all puposes awesome watching nfs video I fall in love with this 600RR
So true! Great video Jamie.
I like how it gives a strong hint to those that let the myth that they need a bran new bike that is designed exactly for where they are going stop them form exploring and being adventurous... so not true:)
I like that low center of gravity compared to a tall dual sport. And the speed!
This looks like the weekend I have planned.
Great video! Makes me even more excited about my upcoming adventure!
Living the dream!!
Great video. Loved the bike. Great job by your camera-man too.
Every time i have a big drop of motivation on riding my bike, You post a video and, let's goooo :D

Amazing Video. I love Motogeo!
THIS is exactly why I love to ride. Riding street and trail all day finishing with some food, a night cap and a fire and listening to tunes. Awesome. But what did the film crew (one guy) do?
Awesome video. Makes me wanna get out, just need to get MOT on my beastie. Also, can't help but think you weren't solo, haha. Keep it up Jamie.
great
Great video
That is a diff CBR for sure but she done the job
Thumbs up
Nice!
My Dream!
Jamie has the right idea!
I'm going to build my cbr like this!
Looks like fun mate
Nice build and great to see a streetbike in the dirt. Just wondering how much dirt and grit gets sent to the radiator without a front fender.
MotoGeo, can you guys upload some of your routs? They look great and being new to the area (bay area) it would be great to know where to head. Thanks.
I must be getting younger. I liked the music for once. LOL. I love that CBR Dionysus. First look at it, I thought it was a bit buzzy, but it goes so well. Love the way you've mounted a fuel cell. Is that on to a Kriega base?

Whaaat??! Stock exhaust back on? That thing sounded awesome before!
I'd love ur life. Lol. Yea I seen ur Daytona salt flats video with this bike but would like a better look round the 600rr and how it came to be?
Epic video as always.
i love your bike!
+POMMEY BIKER Thanks buddy! It a blast to ride! :)
Are you going to do another big trip anytime soon? I miss those. The ones like Italy and Spain.
Nice vid. Jamie, that's a modified sportsbike? Please do a video with your bikes! I saw the one for Ride Apart, but surely you have many bikes ;)
Hey Jamie! Great work to the fellas at Motogeo. Just wondering, what tires are you running on your Dionysus build or for adventures like this? I want this job 👍🏼

Right there is what its all about...
Another great Motogeo video! Just curious, what wasn't white thing on the handlebars?
My guess is water tank.

What changes, in addition to the tires, have you made to the motorcycle to be able to go like this on tracks?
I would put the extra fuel tanks on the back luggage rack and load the two saddlebags equally for better balance. Watched this video, decided to say "fuck it" and packed my bags for a 550KM journey to my country's northern border :)
Awesome buddy, thats it, just go ride, with or without anyone.... hope you had fun and created many memories. :)
Thanks! I did have a blast, it was worth it!
Keep on making videos and inspiring people to embrace their inner adventurer!
Damn, your good.
Wow.
Does the Dionysus have stock suspension? Stock front springs and damping?
The sport bike Trail Conversion really makes sense to me. They are at least 80- 120lbs lighter than average Adventure Bike and with a proper suspension set up perhaps make a better trail bike than the rest of them.
Yes of course I've heard of a dual sport bike.
mcolman02 This.
+mcolman02 You haven't seen the spars on my GSX-R-600! very unlikely you would break a frame if the suspension is changed to softer springs.
dream
awesome! can you tell me what roads these are? I assume it's in SoCal somewhere???
ehi MotoGeo thanks for the video.
you do much off-road in recent videos, a small guide on how to drive off-road? like how to pull a wheelie.
You look at this, and you just say "I gotta camp. Screw everything here, I gotta camp right NOW".
Too bad Italy is not as "open minded" about camping as America seems to be.

Sweet Adventure who needs a GSA?

Nice!!!😫😫😫

+California Dual Sport Riders If I crashed we'd defo show it! :)
Pure talent, that's fantastic.
How does he take those corners on the asphalt where there's like sand all over and he's still leaned over??
This is my next project.
did you put a damper on the exhaust? doesn't seem to be that loud this time
I used my supermoto on this kind of roads and crashed :) Amazing skills man!
p.s. Did you borrow the bike from Mad Max?
Came back to this video and saw my comment from six years ago. My supermoto was 125cc :) I have 2011 CBR600RR now and I race it pretty much on every weekend. Amazing how motorcycle life progresses. solo is usually how I roll. Sometimes it really is better that way :) ... but not all the time.
How much mileage we get on this bike? After all the customisations
Ride to Camp, Camp to Ride....
What is that on the handle bars? And is this before it had the rear seat lobbed off
