I’ve had my mower for almost 9 years and it’s worked flawlessly. It’s never let me down but I also take care of my equipment so take care of your equipment and it will last you a long time.

Well I bought mine 2 year's ago and I love it cut ✂️ great runs 🏃‍♂️ well!
The second pull cranks right up!
It was taking me 1 hour with my 21" Toro
Now I'm done in 35 minutes awesome!
Never had any issues with this MOWER.
I bought it because of the 30" deck and the double blades I am enjoying mowing!

I just bought one used, in perfect shape from a suburban postage stamp yard owner. I'll be using it for several small customers' lawns starting tomorrow. We'll see how well it's built after a week of professional use. I'm easy on my equipment but I cut 30 lawns, and will use this one on at least ten. Toro is a company that either makes a beast or a burden machine. My new Toro snowblower is an overpriced piece of crap but my zero turn Titan was perfect, so I'm on the fence about this machine.

I almost bought one for light commercial use but bought a Cub Cadet CC-760 instead for the same price. Nearly twice the engine, 3" wider cut, holds twice as much gas, and cost half as much to maintain, and is a lot easier to work on. This Toro is a good mower & a good choice for a suburban homeowner with a mid-size yard who takes their mower to the shop for maintenance and repair. I'd still like to have one just to have one, lol...cool mower.

How is the cub for light commercial use? I'm somewhat in the same boat you were in. Don't want to go ex mark commercial 30. But love the personal pace and lightness of the time master though it's not really for every day commercial use.

    • @jasonsmith373
      @jasonsmith373 5 месяцев назад

@@angelomoore4837 it's fine as an entry level commercial mower or a full-time commercial for smaller properties, but the blades could spin faster, the deck could be 3 to 5 inches wider, the grease fittings are cheap, it could've came with a headlamp, and it would be much better if it had a variable transaxle as opposed to a 4-speed manual gearbox that can't be shifted on the fly. You could probably get a good used Skag or something for the same price as a new CC-760 and have an actual commercial mower that you won't have to manhandle as much. As for the Toro, a lot of guys do use them commercially, but the 30" deck and the personal pace system kinda holds it back, in my opinion. I like the personal pace system but I like it on smaller mowers like the Super Recycler, and as for the cutting width, my 33" is barely wide enough to justify mowing a bunch of yards with it so a 30" is really pushing it.

Solid mower. I have mine several years. If you are looking at one of these your are probably in between a rider and a typical 21" mower. While not perfect, it is a good sized unit that no one seems to have directly challenged yet. While heavier that a 21" mower this unit mows like one. Just a bigger one. If you can walk fast and have a flat lawn you can really move along with this mower and the time savings is greater than what you think you can get from the extra 9" width. While it mulches well during certain ideal conditions, it is not a really a great mulcher IMO. It excels at bagging and side discharge IMO.

It was barely worth it at 999. Now it’s definitely not worth buying at the “inflation” mark up price. Toro price gauging its customers.

I have a friend that used the toro version for his LC business and he is very hard on equipment. They held up ok for him. Personally it comes down to the money. I would go commercial grade if money was no object but I would strongly consider the toro based on my experiences. If you treat your equipment reasonably well I do think you can get by with the toro for awhile.

Don't buy one it's a heap of crap
The deck clogs up if there's even a drop of water on the grass
If you're cutting grass above 6 inches you need to double and triple cut
If you lawn has any dips or raises or drops more than 1.5 inches the deck will bottom out on your lawn the rear wheels will lose traction and you will be forced to push it off where it's stuck that cab be difficult over 40kg
The drive belts stuff up regularly.
    It's underpowered.
Blade tip speed is very low at around 14,000 fpm compared to most other mowers at 18,000 fpm plus this has a huge effect ok cut quality and grass discharge
Uses way to much fuel and fuel tank to small.
If you're not super fit and strong don't buy it

Honda makes a better mower with a Honda engine on them and with a direct drive ( no drive belt ) transmission and a self charging electric start ( HRX217K6HZAA ) only drawback with the Honda is that it only has a 21 inch deck
