    As very much a Sooners fan, I'll still tell everyone my thoughts, Barry is the greatest RB of all time. Not only would his numbers have been ridiculous behind an offensive line like the Dallas cowboys line, he regularly made positive/ even big plays where he really should've been tackled behind the line from poor blocking. Furthermore, he could've played another 3-5 years and is still 4th. I loved watching Emmit play. He was really good as well, but I think that Barry was better.

    People forget that Oklahoma state coach at the time pulled Sanders out in the 4thQ several games and decreased his carries the last 4 games of the season , if he didn't Barry would've had 3005 yards instead of his 2685 yds for an untouchable record for the ages 🧐

    • @fierce-green-fire8887
      @fierce-green-fire8887 10 месяцев назад

      Stars get pulled all the time at the end when the victory is secured. You never leave a star in at the end, everyone knows this. Whats curious to me is why do you think he “would have” gotten 3005. That’s laughably specific. And you can’t even say he would have because maybe he would have gotten injured and not been able to play the last few games. Too many unknowns.

    Barry was the best of his era at minimum and it's not even close.

      Barry wasn't the type of runner to follow behind the fullback. He was an improv runner very hard to block for.

    • @THEAdmiralXizor
      @THEAdmiralXizor 11 месяцев назад

      @@jasonwolfe3252 NOT TRUE.
      Watch the Sanders game against Nebraska. He lined up in the "I" formation and followed his fullback EVERY time, cleared the point of attack, and wreaked havoc. When he was tackled, he DRAGGED guys.
      In the NFL, Barry had no fullback, and the first season he got one, he had 14 straight 100 yard games and ran for 2000 yards.
