What a great idea to put wood shavings on them. Mine love it and are always more into the shavings than on the mattress pads... Laika and Viola are still sulking a bit at the moment 😉
@ Guinea pigs love shavings, but they produce a lot of waste. That's why I didn't do the whole room with wood shavings. Even though in Switzerland we can dispose of this waste in the green tour (compost).
I know! There’s no end to the amount of waste! Is green tour waste that gets collected from your home, or do you have to go somewhere to depose it yourself? I try to compost as much as I can myself but some has to go in the trash.
@ I have to drop off the green containers at the end of the street. So about 150m to walk. In winter collection is every two weeks and in summer once a week 😊
You build such a dream home for your piggies! All the different wooden hideouts, the pink pig plush decoration, the charming wooden stairs going up the wood shaving box, and many thoughtful details! Both Johan and Knapre are pioneering leaders! What a great video! Your filming skills are excellent! You are very steady and get down to piggies' level to get closeups and their impressive moves! :)
I love the plush pig king perched on the roof of the house 🐖😅. Once again, honorable mention for Knapre, Johan and Mango 🏅, even if Viola was a top pig 😄. I would have thought that your prudent Laika would have followed her friend Johan the brave a little... It's always very interesting to observe their curiosity and caution when faced with novelty! Thank you for this lovely video 🩷
That was a lovely 6 min start to my my day, whilst having my morning coffee. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words 😊 I just watched one of yours to keep me company while having lunch 😊
@ Still sitting on the fence? Poll closes soon you know. Oh sorry I forgot! Fence is broken of course!

Haven’t you decided on getting them anyway? 😊 I am looking forward to seeing them in your nice garden.
@piglypaws Well yes I've been leaning more and more that way, but always said I'd go with whatever the poll result was.

Guess what, I went in there and clicked the yes alternative. I would feel bad to choose the no.
All your piggies are so adorable! :)

Wood shavings is great. I would like to increase the area covered in wood shavings even more
