Kayla you can also get Nina an amber crystal necklace, ring or earrings, that makes it so it's always sunny when she's out (as long as it's charged) that way she won't die in the rain ever again
I made one for my robot bc the game makes too many glitches and stuff where she's trapped in the rain, and although you can't see the jewerly on the robot, it works pretty well

I wish there was a waterproof upgrade you can give them. Itd be so much better.
omg thank you I didn't know that robots could wear jewelry, I've had a simbot get stuck off lot in the rain before. (I just reset the sim and made her teleport indoors)
And Cay can get crystals in the science career!!!
He can work to improve Nina instead of fixing her all the time

An idea: since you used to have a graveyard before moving your sims to a new save, how about you build a graveyard in this save; but make it a residential lot, and move Dory and April's ghosts there. We can pretend that their ghosts are tending to the graveyard, and that they're there to help any of their descendants spirits to peacefully cross to the other side. They'll be like the keepers of the Bell legacy
In honor of Seamore, I think that the shark pond should return to the Nightmare Legacy Challenge in the next generation. Just think of the chaos!! Like Tia literally died in that thing, it should be a rite of passage for all Bell children to jump in once they become young adults lol

I don't want Nina to ever die, I think she could be there to help future generations and to help the heirs etc, or to just be a friend. it does sound kind of sad how everyone she meets will die, maybe Kay can make another robot so Nina can have a partner!

I do think seeing the scientist career could be super fun for cay, especially with all the extra crystals that could be used on the gemology table for gameplay benefits. however, I feel like to prevent another nina disaster, somebody in the family (or, specifically, in the household) should definitely be an engineer so they can fix nina. maybe flip the idea of them getting a spouse and have them marry an engineer? also definitely voting for cay as the heir, I feel like he just has a lot more going for them and it would be fun to see a male heir for a change again

If y’all need to know “how to get them back in the urn” lol
All you have to do it shift-click the ghost, click “remove from household”
They’ll autonomously re-enter their urn after a while
And if you don’t want to cheat it you can click their urn and there’s an option to “send back to afterlife” or whatever it says and that’s the official way
I've seen loads of people mention this and i agree: i think the next gen should become a scientist! Imagine a cool lab at home?? With all the machines and experiments

i put on a random vod after the previous legacy video & kayla mentioned something along the lines of "i don't want to have the robot around forever so maybe we can kill her off eventually, maybe having her go out in the rain" i was shocked but immediately thought that kayla unknowingly predicted nina's "death" like (maybe?) months in advance lol
Nina is like this seasons Anna - around for multiple generations, carrying the series, an untimely death but continues to help out

I think the cheat to save Nina was completely called for, since it was a glitch that broke her off-lot and the repair person function failed multiple times.

I had an idea about doing a billionaire challenge. I think it would give owning businesses and rental units to pass onto the kids a real purpose. Like once you gain money from the rental units once a week if you have enough units you could get the fabulously wealthy aspiration done really quick.
