Wow, and literally yesterday I was going through the same struggle. I spent so long looking at my hair in the mirror half up half down and went from absolutely loving the style to being shy and putting it up in a puff. I adore my coils but i just get shy. I thought it was do crazy I have to encourage myself to wear it down because that’s literally what everyone else gets to do. So how come black folks gotta be the exception?
