At the time of the Prophet (pbuh), non-human animal flesh was a necessity for survival. In modern times, we can get all our nutrition from a well-planned vegan diet. So the suffering and cruelty inflicted on non-human animals is completely unnecessary. Since Islam recognises that non-human animals are sentient beings who have consciousness and subjective experience of the world (as shown by the hadith referenced below), this means we can conclude that animal flesh and other products like eggs, dairy, and even insects and honey are haraam in the modern age and that veganism is fardh/wajib for all Muslims who are practically able to go vegan. There is no moral justification for slitting the throat of an animal that does not want to die, for separating children from their mothers, for viewing animals as products to be exploited, in this modern day and age when everyone, even pregnant women and babies, can be healthy on a well-planned vegan diet. Let us emulate the mercy of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and pay homage to Allah, the Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, by becoming vegan ourselves and advocating for our family and friends to go vegan too, inshallah. Regarding udhiyah/ qurbani for eid, let us ban this barbaric practice for the sake of Allah and instead distribute healthy vegan sources of protein such as lentils, chickpeas, grains, etc. to the poor instead of the flesh of an innocent victim. May Allah guide us closer to Him. Ameen.

Some say Islamic slaughter methods cause no suffering: nothing could be further from the truth. Would you like me to take a knife to your throat, since you seem to think that would cause no suffering? I urge you to also read on modern factory farming, which supplies pretty much all the animal products we consume. We kill animals that don't need to be killed (since we can be healthy on a vegan diet), breeding them into a short lived life. We sexually assault cows and separate their children from their mothers so we can drink the milk meant for their young. We breed chickens that produce so many eggs in a year they suffer calcium deficiency and broken legs, not to mention most male chicks are ground alive or suffocated to death because they are useless to the egg industry. Every animal wishes to live, to be with its own, to enjoy the time it has been given by God on this planet. When we unnecessarily rip all that away of them, wallahi we commit a major, major sin and act of shirk, May Allah protect us all from this and guide us to veganism. Ameen.

Jackfilmington has gone down the dark path of secondary channels that end up outshining the main. I pray for the health and safety of this channel.
Wasn’t expecting a funeral for YIAY today. My dog was just out to sleep a few hours ago, so a humorous episode about death was what I needed today.
i'm so sorry for your loss 🫂
At least he didn’t have to witness Jeremyvideo’s death
My dog is in her last days 😢 my condolences my dude❤
I'm sorry for your loss ❤
Rest in peace
This is the first yiay I've seen! Cant wait for more!
I watched this since it’s inception, I love you Jack you were one of the first RUclipsrs I ever watched love you buddy
Good to see jacksfilms and jjjacksfilms collaborating. They really have a lot in common.
I know right?! They could be the same person!
Jack on his way to realizing for the third time that a second channel has never been a successful and satisfying business endeavor without essentially becoming the main channel in the history of RUclips:
But now he's done a full 360 and his main channel that became his second channel is now his second channel that's going to become a main channel...
@@vigilantcosmicpenguin8721 And then he'll pull an ExtraCredits move and change his mind later
my comment was on YIAY one time in 2015 and I still haven’t lived it down. thanks for the memories 🫡
This series was so good. Sad to see it leave
@@Susnation532I’m sure you are buddy 😉

thanks maggis paggis❤
I love that so many people mention the ants. Really it was only in that one outro episode but it's one of the most memorable bits from the entire series.
I wonder how the person who made the original joke feels, knowing that they were the creator of YIAY's greatest ans
We have made an long journey my friends its been years i have been watching this as a kid
-thanks jack
I remember watching everyday and singing the intro along, "leave your entries in the subreddit bros and I'll watch submissions in the next episode of lwiay" the good ol days man
This is real bittersweet. It reminds me of the end of YGS. I’m glad Jackisanerd is holding up the mantle. It’s crazy I’ve been watching This channel for so long. I’m looking forward to whatever you are doing next here Jack.
I WAS ABOUT TO GET SO SAD AT THE TITLE AND THUMBNAIL, JACKSFILMS, I'M SERIOUS. Thankfully those last 2 minutes saved it. I've been watching YIAY since that original episode posted in 2015 on Jackisanerd, I've literally watched them all since then, so it's actually nice to see it come back home 💗
But i have to say, what's really sad is that in 8 years i have NEVER once featured in any YIAY episode 😔
true from my heart-YIAY has been part of my life for so long. i’ll miss YIAY. had a great run. always made me laugh. ♥️🔥
I know I was absent for the past few years. But I love you and i seriously can't express how much i love this video. 😂
You shouldn't accept the sponsorships from BetterHelp.

ancually nothing wrong with it
Jack, YIAY got me through middle school and so many tough times, thank you for everything and being such an inspiration 🙏🙏🙏
@Susnation532 k
Haven't watched jacksfilms in a while but I always love the extremely deliberate blink that Jack does playing a rube
Truly and inspirational YAIY video, JohnCinema.
This has been an amazing series over the years
E
Indeed, I only started watching fairly recently compared to others but I love this series !!!
You really scared me with that announcement, but this news made me very happy right before going to bed :) YIAY isn't dead AND you're bringing back the only Q&A show on youtube??? It doesn't get better than this
E
I love how you edited the candles in the background to be bottles of white wine in a few shots 😂 cracked me up
Don't use BetterHelp btw
HELP!!!
My grandmother and grandfather had a joint funeral in 2020. I can now proudly say they were... _groundbreaking_ in the innovation of speed running funerals!
The true world record holders are all of the native americans after Columbus
Oh god...RIP and I hope you and your family are doing alright, but also as someone who had to do a handful of funerals of family members separately that must've saved you some serious cash.
so many years of YIAY, so influential that it even made LWIAY. YIAY will be missed
It'll still be on his other channel.
@@GumSkyloarddon't you have anything better to do than to ruin the joke?
@@GumSkyloardno its dead forever he wizard blasted it
thanks for using the OG piano melody during the better help sponsor
Being featured in 2016 was the peak of my life. I’ll forever be grateful for YIAY
It’s always beautiful to see the beginning of a new Jacksfilms Era.
the first submission is so satisfying to hear
This is a moment and a video that is a staple on history. We will never forget.
Real talk: I’ve been following this series for nearly 4 years now, and to see it come to end is honestly kinda sad to witness.
I watched the first ever YIAY the day it was uploaded and now I've got a degree. Years passing, regrets increasing.
Same, I started watching YIAY when I was in middle school, now I'm halfway through college. It is quite bittersweet.

Been watching since 2016. We salute you, YIAY. Even if this isn’t the true end, it’s an end of an era. Thank you so much for the memories, binging the series over and over again while gaming or drawing, and watching with my mom and having to explain half of the jokes.
cant wait for season two!
Oooooh this is such a smart business move! I see a lot of people fumble the bag when switching channels, but this is a good way to do it.
Ok, I am deeply excited! I can’t wait for Jackask. Erin’s funny comments are true gold
I'm so glad it's not ACTUALLY over, I literally grew up with this series lmao
Sooooo excited for more Jackask
The real funeral should be for that one guy who made a suggestion every yiay and never got featured.
Jack, you've been there for me nearly every day of the last several years of my life. Whatever comes after this, Thank you for everything
E
Well, we'll have more YIAY, on Jackisanerd.
@@GumSkyloard yeah I caught that, though it sounds less like the main show now. I look forward to whatever it is he wants to do next
Rest in piece, jacksflims, you will be missed
Which piece? The forehead piece?
this is the first jacksfilms video I've watched in at least 2 years and it's pulled me back under
I haven’t watched YIAY in a couple years and now there are tears in my eyes?
Rest in peace yiay, and my condolences to all who were never featured.
Someone's yet to finish the video.
@@GumSkyloard ya mama
@@GumSkyloarddude, shut up. We get it
thank you brother
I can’t believe it’s ending now. Almost 10 years of a consistent upload schedule, and right near where I graduate school. What a perfect note to end YIAY, the very first series I watched on Jacksfilm’s channel. I can’t wait to see what plans John has in the future. May YIAY forever be remembered as one of the best and longest series ever.
It's not ending though, it just moved to another channel.
YIAY will always have a special place in my heart… R.I.P
I was one of the commenters featured on the very first episode of YIAY. I dropped off a while back tbh, but I'm glad to see the series end in honor. Well done John.
1:38 Gotta love how jack impulsively photo-shopped Wine in the background for no reason
After all these years, Jack has fed all the questions and answers to YIAYGPT (also known as YAIY) and now the content will make itself
