bro jasper what such a waste of potential, she could have done so much with him. His backstory was def one of the most interesting
literally the entire universe was a waste of potential... alice, jasper, rosalie, carlisle. esme, volturi, etc all had amazing stories that should have been written deeper into. the idea of a vampire government too. instead we got a not actually real (bella didnt actually like jake) love triangle.

I really wish there could have been more moments between jasper and rosalie, considering the fact that they were known as the “hale twins”, and i always thought their backgrounds were the most interesting. Love the edit btw 💗
huh. i never gave jasper a second thought, but this video has made me realize he's a much more interesting character than i assumed.
I was *so* glad when Jackson could finally give Jasper his drawl. It helped flesh him out so much more than they allowed in Twilight.

Dude, imagine if Jasper was the main character. And how he became enlightened through his gift by learning the errors of Confederacy to parting with Maria to finding a way to survive on animal blood, leading him to find true peace and happiness. Only for that to be threatened by the Volturi, who he helps lead a vampire revolt against.
Hell, make Alice human if you want to keep the forbidden love human angle. Or make Bella more interesting. Either way, Stephanie had such great characterization and just. . .squandered the plot with it.

I’ve read a fic showing how he can suffer from feeling people around him. We insist a lot on Edward’s capacity to read minds. But it must also be quite challenging to have imposed on you the feelings of those around you and difficult to find your own feelings when you’re overwhelmed by those of others

So frickin maleficent! I love character studies and u it directly head on with this; really enjoyed the pacing and thought out placement of each clip of the scenes and how well it all round captures the (movie) aspects were shown of Jasper. (Side note: Also too how u included Jasper’s dialogue that was at the later part of the first film - So many people forgot that part and how Jaz was so knowledgeable even at the start. So kudos for that added extra too! ^.^)

I mean Stephanie Meyer kinda goofed up when she explained her concept of frozen in time. Anne Rice's concept was a better depiction of "staying the same." With meyer, their hair would never grow back. This poses so many issues since in the course of just a few decades the same strands of hair would all break apart with the constant friction of everyday life. The cells within each strand of hair aren't alive anymore - breakage would happen.
Anne Rice's vampires had their hair grow back to just the same length everytime. Much more reasonable
