I feel like I've learned so much from watching this, can't wait to go training tonight and let people mount me and side mount me just to practice what he said!
Can’t get enough. Thank you all enough for the content. Especially in today’s situation having Gracieuniversity.com as well as RUclips has been amazing
I appreciate all of them, they don't just seem like fighters,I can see they have the intelligence, humility and kind.i love their motto.im sure out of all them, their have to be atleast one hot head out the family, but that doesn't take from their overall characters,I definitely appreciate what they bring for the rest of the world to see
There are two names that had made martial arts fashionable and relevant, that had contributed to martial arts more than any other… Bruce Lee and the Gracies..
@HEAT1996 But it must evolve in such a way as to get as many people involved as possible and not in a way as "the strongest will survive". Martial Arts should not have that attitude to survive. "Approximately 90% of people who start jiu-jitsu never make it to blue belt, and 99% of people who make it to blue never make it to black belt." Rener Gracie
22:49 not really accurate from what I’ve learned. Mitsuyo Maeda did not only teach the Gracie family when he arrived in Brazil. Another student in Luis Franca has produced a very successful line of BJJ.
Ohh Ryron eu sou brasileiro e gostaria tanto de assistir videos seus e de seu irmão falando em português. Parece que os Gracies não se importam mais com agente, eu fico triste com isso.
Great interview because Ryron responded to great questions. I assume you misspelled the word "Clan" for "Klan" in the title. You should probably change that. For obvious reasons.
Pass & Destroy he comes from the hip hop world, in hip hop words like clan, crew etc are often replaced with the letter K for stylized purposes. In some circles especially here in Los Angeles use of the word " Clan" with the letter K is acceptable. But i totally understand where u are comming from, especially on a wider scale like youtube
Heck you could have done a whole video of the wall behind you guys. A school will work without belts if you have a syllabus that states the learning that you will or have aquired and the parts of each part of the system the reason this would work is because it makes a cohesive whole so graduation of the system is a real possibility. The problem is there is lots of different approaches to the game however the structures each uses is primarily the same so transparency between systems would be normal if you start training as a system, and actually going to another teacher for finer points on certain positions would become a norm. This happened in karate in the 70s and 80s.
Some definitions skew but it has a lot to do with NOT performing to your optimal level. One example is if you've been a blue belt and ready to matriculate to purple, but you play down because you like the competition as a blue so the pressure is off.
Fijians? ....jiu jitsu? ....deadly combo. Discipline, size, strength, humility and though fijians are peaceful but when comes to repenting their people it's game over.
Thanks for checking out the video. Like in anything that evolves, it really is about frequency of mat time and the comprehension of the student. Cheers!
Boy they never pass up a chance to tell you how great they all are huh? I, me and Gracie seem to be the 3 most used words for these guys when they are talking about martial arts. And if you forget, don't work they will remind you next year!
Dude, did you have to help perpetuate the scamiest Gracie in the business? Renzo, Rickson, Kron, Galvao.. no one of quality likes these guys. You want people to stop talking shit on 10th Planet in the main community? Don't reach out to idiots like this. This is a guy telling people that BJJ is enough for street fighting, not MMA, not owning a weapon, not being an athlete... Just listen to the car salesman way he talks, it's obvious what's going on. Watch his other vids, watch his hand tied behind his back rolling session or any of his competition vids. Compare any of that shit to Galvao or Kron or Firas Zahabi. These guys don't understand MMA, so they present an alternative, because they can't do it. The only reason someone stands near these guys is to try to gleam a prestige that died out in roughly 1994.
They are out of touch too. Krons biggest attribute at this point is his relationship with the Diaz brothers, so, I definitely don't put stock in Rickson. The Gracie's are trying to circle their wagons because they're sinking into obscurity at a time when everyone is talking about either EBI or what grappling actually transfers to MMA
Ryron Gracie is a real master, thanks for your words...
It's really helpful
I tried to smash the spider on my monitor. You win this round orfen!
TheTardstrong hahahahahhaha

Great teacher
There are two names that had made martial arts fashionable and relevant, that had contributed to martial arts more than any other… Bruce Lee and the Gracies..
I agree a lot with what he said, its a shame that a lot of instructors have such a different way of teaching jiu jitsu here in Brazil
Great point. Thank you for watching Dudu sfr!

Rener Gracie
Very insightfully
Thank you for watching Jada!

Thanks for stoping by!
He's, just a positive person.
why doesn't this have more views?
I will re contact Ryron next week. Thanks for watching!
22:49 not really accurate from what I’ve learned. Mitsuyo Maeda did not only teach the Gracie family when he arrived in Brazil. Another student in Luis Franca has produced a very successful line of BJJ.
I think what he meant is if you "learned [Brazilian] Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil, it came from the Gracies first."
So much truth in this!
Ryron doesn't just have the name, he has the lineage as the firstborn of the firstborn
Thanks for watching
Ohh Ryron eu sou brasileiro e gostaria tanto de assistir videos seus e de seu irmão falando em português. Parece que os Gracies não se importam mais com agente, eu fico triste com isso.
I love to see Ryron have a MMA match with Steven Seagal just for entertainment lol
Seagal wouldn’t even be able to move, he’s so damn overweight. He’s probably have a heart attack... lol
Great interview because Ryron responded to great questions. I assume you misspelled the word "Clan" for "Klan" in the title. You should probably change that. For obvious reasons.

PlugOneTwo It makes sense that some people will do this.
If only I were a Gracie
Stand up guy ...slight play on words there, but I mean it lol :P
+Jaikay1 Thanks for stopping by Jaikay1!
Fijians? ....jiu jitsu? ....deadly combo. Discipline, size, strength, humility and though fijians are peaceful but when comes to repenting their people it's game over.
A warrior culture. Thanks for stopping by Faustino.
I thought a blue belt takes about 4yrs

@@korranis1 you are welcome!

you sound upset :(
Gracies are running out of names ending with "on" and making up names.
He looks like a young version of grandmaster helios
None of the gracies even like each other.
Bipedal Hominid thanks for checking out the interview.
@@Plugonetwo no problemo
Kron Gracie > Ryron

Rickson and Pedro Sauer just did a video with them..they joined his federation....he openly endorsed them. Pedro has joined them.

Everyone I don't like is out of touch and in on it.
They don't understand MMA, yet they coach the #2 UFC Featherweight? They don't understand street fighting, yet were taught by Helio himself?
Jacare wil tap him out
