Dude this one is a step up! I couldn’t stop watching! But bummed I missed the start of spring seeing this! so stoked the way you can capture these moments so well. This will be the video I point people to when they ask why I fly! 😮
@@BenjaminKellett pleasure is all mine bro. Your the inspiration so many of us need. If i manage to make one flight like this in my life id be more than happy
Epic. Jealous AF. I love NZ and the kiwis and damn that mountain scenery is something else. You definitely have a story there for your book of life experiences. Thanks for sharing.
Guapísimo video de lo mejor que he visto, calidad gráfica buenísima y paisajes increíbles he de decir que la envidia casí me mata, gracias por vuestro trabajo.Felices vuelos.
Smashing itout of the park mate. Eff in awesome. Conflicted this morning, watch the soccer semi final or this. Glad I saved it for the glass of wine after work
Thank you Ben for another Amazing Flying Adventure in an arguably most beautiful place on earth. Brad done good keeping up with you I reckon.... even if he does have a funny accent....
That was so good I had to watch it twice, especially the Matuki east branch hyperlapse before the jump - that's what it's all about! Enjoying the little bits of sound design too. Keep smashing it!
I`ve seen all your videos. High quality stuff, and you are continuously improving! My usual playing ground is Norway, but I go abroad. Been to flatland OZ a couple of times. The Southern Alps look far more tempting! Guess I`m a mountain man. If I ever get reborn it has to be in Queenstown!
I would love to come flying in New Zealand. If there is one last travel I could do, that would be this one (thanks for keep using SportsTrackLive for your 3D part)
That was so good I watching it several times. Thank you enough for sharing great experience. I have plan to NZ Jan 10-20. 2024. Is it good time for xc flying in there?
Another cracking adventure Ben 👍🏻👍🏻 I’m thinking of going down the 360 route for 2023 - do you know anything about the X3? And on the 360 footage where you’re talking are you using sound from the Insta or the GoPro? Cheers from a wet and windy Blighty!
Cool! I have the One R, but the One X 3 looks good I'm considering upgrading. I use the gopro + lav mic for audio and I sync it with the 360 footage, however you can also get mic adapters for the insta too, I haven't tried it that way around but I'm sure it'd be much the same.
@@BenjaminKellett Thanks Ben, my son gave me an external mic for Christmas so I've got the adaptor - I'll let you know how it goes if we ever get any flyable weather!
Not sure to be honest, I can ask. I use Baist gloves though and really like them! I have the trigger mitts that means I still have the index finger to use the B riser toggles. The glove liners are compatible with touch screen as well. There’s a link in the description that gives you a discount if you’re interested! 😁
Haha cool!! He’s from Sheffield!! He’s actually got his own channel flying hang gliders! Check it out his channel name is Pete Helliwell! @petehelliwell
I'm a 72 kiwi living in the Philippines. An hangglider pilot back as far as 1977. In the last 3 years logged 320 hours paragliding. To old to walkout 12 hours. Maybe a copper ride out. How I would love to do a flight like that. In the next couple of years my married. Granddaughter might make me a greatgrandfather. So my video would be titled Great grandfather flys 100 in a paraglider. How many hits would that get?
Simply Superb ! The story, the editing, the cinematography all brilliant. Sets a high bar for all other paragliding videos. Should be on Netflix. If I were to make one tiny suggestion for improvement; add more labels to the locations you're talking aboout to help viewers who don't know the area.
haha yeah I think I had some thermals on for that one but normally shorts is all good. The harness offers heaps of protection from the wind, then I have the shorts ready for hiking!
Yeah thanks for the feed back. It was a bit much eh, it’s a hard one to find a balance, if you check a box RUclips just does it automatically. The adds give me a tiny amount of income that seems to cover some of the software costs. I have taken half of the adds off this video now, hopefully it’s better! 🙏
Radical flying.
😎
Very cool thank you for sharing
No worries, thanks for watching!
great two days. Must be nice to camp ridgetop in the middle of nowhere. and such scenic flying.
Thanks mate! Yeah it's a pretty special way to get to those super remote spots!
Do you fly as well?
Fun soar with these blokes. Especially funny when Ben cracks on his wingman for being slow to pack up.
🤣 He gets it a lot.
Amazing video... brilliant
Thanks!
Honestly, this is one of the best paragliding channels on yt. Top quality production Benjamin
Ahhh cheers Terry that's awesome!

It’s not a bad spot!
XC to arrow was big in my day🤔
Absolutely amazing video! Keep them coming. On the verge of getting into paragliding myself!

Love this video. What gloves do Brad use? I’ve been flying with my ski gloves but they are way too big I think. His gloves look warm and not that big?

Great video as usual :) what's the attachment you use for your 360 cam on the riser?
Thanks mate!! It’s a small rig clamp mount, link is in the description 🤓
Yeah, I had no idea there was snow in New Zealand. Does it snow in Australia too?
Yeah they have ski fields as well!
Cracking video. Watched one of yours last week with a guy from Yorkshire in. Where abouts is he from? That's my neck of the woods.
Haha cool!! He’s from Sheffield!! He’s actually got his own channel flying hang gliders! Check it out his channel name is Pete Helliwell! @petehelliwell

@@BenjaminKellett I reckon Pete has a spare pair of Pit Vipers if you need to replace your sunnies. ;-)
wow! Thank you. What a great video! The cure! Is that mostly ridge lift or thermal lift?
Its all thermal lift, mostly coming from thermals triggered at the snow line

haha yeah I think I had some thermals on for that one but normally shorts is all good. The harness offers heaps of protection from the wind, then I have the shorts ready for hiking!
@@BenjaminKellett aalright I am getting that for sure.
Shorts (and trainers) for camping in the snow, in a tent made for keeping out mosquitoes ………aaaaaaaaaaarg! Nevertheless…..AWESOME!❤
Looks so awesome mate. How do you get into doing this sort of paragliding?
Ahh well after you get your solo licence just takes a bit of experience in thermaling and slope landing! It’s pretty fun!
How do you make the route map? (kmz file on google earth?)
Yeah so its on google earth studio, then I export to after effects and create 3D text inside AE
