Odd coincidence, Rachel, I just purchased her pattern yesterday, and here you are today doing it. I plan on using some French General fabrics I recently purchased, but love this little house (I have a "thing" for houses). Can't wait to see how yours comes along. I probably won't do mine for a bit as I have so many other projects going (Ann Brooke, Jessie Chorley)...so many projects, so little time! Best of luck!
Thanks so much Rachel, I have just watched Sarah's gorgeous video, and she inspired me to get back to my stitching and I have just literally pulled my Lisa Mattock goodies, and then I see your video, its all meant to be I think:)) Lisa. V
I'm in! I went to Lisa's website and bought the PDF pattern as soon as you showed it! So cute! I love Lisa's Instagram - those tours she does to France look dreamy! Edit to add - I reduced them to 75% too. Storing Christmas decorations is always a challenge at my house, so the smaller the better. I'm thinking it would be fun to make one each year and collect a little village over time. Thanks for sharing this one!
I love this! Such great choices for colour, fabrics and laces. Would love to see how you place your slow stitch projects in your home. Looking forward to the next update video. Hug’s and blessings, 🇨🇦🤗❤️
Oh Rachel this is going to be so much fun watching you create this adorable house. The kits are sold out on her site. I want to start doing some slow stitching. I used to cross stitch years ago and like to do all kinds of crafty things. Never slow stitched before and it looks so fun and relaxing. Thanks for taking us along on this magical journey. PS - I love the fabrics you are using. Going to be a gorgeous Christmas House!
This is so cute Rachel, l just love Lisa's work and style.♥️🧵 The colours you have choosen are lovely, it looks like a fun project. Tfs Hugs Susanna xx😄♥️
I was lucky to purchase one of the Christmas cottages kit, and I am so excited to get started on them, even more so now that I can follow along with you as you create your cottages😍
I love this! I'm like you though, I look at a picture and then do my thing, then have to look at the directions. LOL..... Makes me want to pick up my fabric and needle and thread.... can't wait to see the finishing part. Will be following this video for sure.... (along with your other journal videos. )😉 "brain might explode" LOL.... my kids always say that about me, if I think too much.hahahaha That small scrappy bit looks like the state of Texas. LOL BTW, I LOVE that fabric! I'm a fabriholic too. LOL...
I bought Lisa’s pdf pattern and downloaded so I’m excited to see where you take yours. I do lots of hand stitching 🧵 including EPP, cross stitch, crazy quilting, embroidery and appliqué and this will be a fun venture into the slow stitch world (with the more rustic unfinished seams ...) I’ve watched you demo. I’m curious to see how you embellish yours as you go along! Thanks and take care! -Nancy
Super cute! As a life long seamstress (learned to sew when I was 9), I am a bit confused by the term 'slow stitching'...I always just called it hand sewing (vs machine sewing). 🤔
watched the whole series and all l can say is WOW , that was wonderful. question why do they say slow stitching VS hand stitching ? hand stitching is the proper term , just a question =)
Do you know how I can get in touch with Lisa. I want to ask her if she will be making more kits. She is out of stock. I would love to buy a whole kit. Thank you. This is so amazing. Thank you Rachel💝💝💝

It's pretty much the same thing. Thanks so much 😊
Where did you get the mixed bag of French red letters? They are so good
I bought them on Etsy www.etsy.com/shop/sissidavril . She doesn't have the mixed ones anymore.
@@roxycreations679 I just bout some from her- a letter and a number one. Loved the idea of mixed packs.
@@roxycreationsbysarah They were good. I think mum bought one pack from her as well.
Do you know how I can get in touch with Lisa. I want to ask her if she will be making more kits. She is out of stock. I would love to buy a whole kit. Thank you. This is so amazing. Thank you Rachel💝💝💝

Where did you get those pretty red letters? Love this 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I bought a mixed lot, my studio initials , my husband's initials, and my initials on Ebay years ago.
Search Antique French laundry labels.
I bought them on Etsy but I checked the shop she doesn't have any left. Maybe just search them on Etsy many people sell them. Thank you so much!
I did find some but I ordered a set of calligraphy stamp alphabet to see I can make my own lol I will let you know how they turn out🤗
I'm sorry but with volume at high can not hear you.
